At that moment, several helicopters approached like giant steel birds, their propellers churning the air with a deafening roar. Niuniu instantly went on alert, shielding Yu Kai like a guardian deity. The attack helicopter's weapons systems instantly unleashed full force, illuminating the surrounding sky like daylight. A mutated eagle, as massive as a mountain, suddenly appeared like a ghost. Spreading its sky-blanking wings, it swooped down with a fierce swoop, instantly destroying the helicopter ahead. The wreckage, blazing with flames, plummeted from the sky, a scene of sheer horror and dread.
The two helicopters behind opened fire frantically at the mutant eagle, their dense barrage of bullets and shells forming an impenetrable barrage. However, the mutant eagle was extremely agile, dodging left and right with ease. Every flap of its wings brought about a violent gust of wind, making all attacks miss.
"Open the hatch! I'll kill it!" Yu Kai's gaze, blazing like a blazing flame, glared at the slightly nervous officer beside him, his resolute gaze filled with determination and fearlessness. Niuniu saw Yu Kai jump and quickly followed without hesitation. The officer was about to stop her, but when he saw her eyes instantly turn blood red, the fierceness and determination revealed in them were as real as substance, he immediately stepped back and involuntarily closed his mouth. He allowed Niuniu to jump from the hatch, and then the hatch quickly closed.
In the air, Yu Kai, tightly wrapped in an incredibly sturdy mecha, clutching a gleaming mechanical sword, walked side by side with Niuniu. They formed a stark contrast with the massive, ferocious mutant eagle, like an ant against an elephant.
The mutant eagle saw Yu Kai flying towards it, and a fierce glint flashed in its eyes. It instantly spread its huge wings and swooped down, tearing through the sky like a black lightning bolt. Undaunted, Yu Kai flapped his wings vigorously and charged forward with unstoppable momentum. With a swift swing of his sword, he slashed through the mutant eagle's sharp claws. The eagle let out a sharp cry of pain and fled into the distance, wounded. It flapped its wings vigorously, trying to escape this deadly battlefield. But Yu Kai pursued it relentlessly, swift as the wind, determined to kill it.
Suddenly, a dark figure appeared above the mutant eagle like a ghost. It was Niuniu. Her sharp nails pierced the mutant eagle's skull, tearing it apart with such force. Blood immediately poured down like rain, staining the sky red.
Yu Kai paused in mid-air, watching Niuniu unhesitatingly pull out the mutant bead and swallow it. Her aura instantly intensified. She waved her hand at the falling mutant eagle's corpse, and several streaks of cold light shot out, instantly slicing the eagle's body into several sections. The blood smeared from her mouth made her look incredibly terrifying. She raised her head and roared at the sky, as if venting the endless anger and fear deep within her heart.
Yu Kai quickly came to Niu Niu, hugged her tightly, and whispered, "It's okay, brother will always protect you!" He knew very well that Niu Niu was extremely distrustful of humans. She was showing her strength in this extreme way, trying to protect herself and him from possible harm.
After a while, Niuniu gradually calmed down under Yu Kai's comfort. The helicopter approached, opened the hatch, and Yu Kai pulled her in. Everyone stepped back a little, their eyes filled with awe and fear. Yu Kai's armor quickly retreated, and he pulled Niuniu aside to sit.
The bloody footage of Niuniu slaughtering the mutant eagle replayed repeatedly on the command center's giant screen, every detail crystal clear and shocking. Everyone watched, swallowing hard, their foreheads covered in sweat. Anxiety filled their hearts, wondering whether bringing Yu Kai and the others back would be a blessing or a curse, and whether something unpredictable would arise.
