"I'm not afraid!" Liu Ling answered without hesitation, her eyes full of determination, as if nothing could shake her determination.
"But you don't understand me, and you won't be happy this way. And I may not have the time to accompany you at all. There are too many people waiting for me to rescue, and too much responsibility weighs on my shoulders."

Liu Ling watched Yu Kai and the Formation Devourer bickering back and forth, her brows curved, a smile blossoming on her tear-stained face. She followed closely behind Yu Kai, her heart filled with joy, even her flight felt light and effortless, as if the wind was at her feet. She couldn't help but picture the scene of her master learning that she had found the person of her dreams, and someone as remarkable as Yu Kai. The smile on her lips grew even wider, and she wondered: Would her master be so shocked to hear this news that he couldn't close his mouth?
