The Regent's background.
Li Muge stopped in his tracks and hid in the shadows.
"The Regent is truly ruthless; he would even betray his own father for power and wealth."
"I heard that when the Regent's father died at the hands of the late Emperor, he was tortured beyond recognition."
"It was a palace maid," she said.
Another palace maid lowered her voice mysteriously.
"What do you know? I heard from the old folks in the palace that Yunfeng is not the Regent's biological father. Moreover, there are rumors that Yunfeng adopted the Regent as his son on the surface, but secretly treated him as a male concubine."

The rose bush grinned, its eyes and lips swarming with countless black worms.
It gives me goosebumps.
Li Muge quickly grabbed the peach wood sword in her hand: "Yueji, I saved you, you shouldn't repay kindness with enmity."
"Hehehe." Rose, dressed in a blood-soaked costume, said, "Little girl, ghosts don't reason with you. Be my substitute. I haven't basked in the sunlight for a very, very long time."
"You're dreaming." Li Muge carefully put away the Regent's cloak and started fighting with the female ghost Yueji.
Although the rose is a female ghost.
But controlled by evil magic, half of her resentment was bound. Li Muge bit her finger and smeared the blood on the sword.
He slashed at the female ghost with his sword.
