Chen Jing took her to the lakeside. Since Long had come here to fish before, Chen Jing knew the direction. Behind him, Lena, wearing a hood, followed him slowly.
She said nothing, like a living corpse. Chen Jing was silent too. He kept an eye on the surrounding woods, ready to throw a stone if he saw any strange movement.
It threw out a few birds, a group of passing wolves, and a skeleton soldier.
"There are still undead here?" Chen Jing took a closer look and confirmed that it was natural, with no traces of external force on the body. If there were necromancers or something, he would be really confused.
Lena stood there watching him busy burying the skeleton and asked, "What are you doing?"
"Let him rest in peace. God knows if it will collapse again. Let's bury him first and see."
"Yeah." He stopped talking again.
Further ahead, there was a thin layer of mist by the lake, and there were many monsters in the mist. Chen Jing kept fighting them, but Lena did not move, saying that she was saving energy.
"We're almost there." Chen Jing looked at her. He couldn't understand this person. Hela's mental state was due to being isolated by fate. She had been in a gloomy and terrifying place with Garm for so many years, which made her very painful. After a long time, she became numb. But this woman was well dressed and didn't look like she had a hard time making a living. How could she have become like this? And yet she came to the North to adventure.
"Redhead, you are not from the North."
"I'm from the south, you don't need to know." She walked into the fog with her sword. She was very close to the Hydra Lake.
Chen Jing didn't say anything else. She didn't have the position to do so, nor was there any need to.
He turned around and prepared to leave.
Suddenly, she saw something, which was what Lena had dropped on the ground just now, a piece of crystal.
There were magic patterns engraved on it, which Chen Jing couldn't recognize, but he knew the basic common sense of not touching magical items casually.
Touching it casually would only bring trouble. Chen Jing took a few steps and said, "I'm still very curious." He turned around, drew his sword, and used a sword technique that the old man Niu Kui had taught him before, using the sword to drive the wind. The method was to directly use the sword to carve the "wind rune", and then the magic power in the air would accomplish your goal. However, the prerequisite is that there is magic in this world, and there definitely is magic in a world with dragons and undead.
A gust of wind blew away the mist, and Chen Jing saw two things fighting in the lake. Lena was surrounded by black mist, and the huge Hydra, which was more than 20 meters high, kept spraying various things with its nine heads to attack her.
Fireballs, ice blades, electric balls, venom, stones, all kinds of unscientific things made Chen Jing a little confused.
Soon, Lena's body was covered with wounds. Her fighting spirit was not strong, and could even be said to be very weak, as if she was in a hurry to die.
This may not be an exaggeration.
Be more confident and remove the image.
She just wants to die.
Chen Jing looked at this scene and the sword in his hand. To be honest, he was not sure if he could challenge this special effects snake, but he wanted to know the story behind this heartbroken woman.
Curiosity drives him to do things that he would not normally do.
The magic of walking on water is not difficult. Chen Jing can also do it, and it is a mutated version of Fenrirism. This version can even fly for a short period of time.
Chen Jing did not waste time either. He immediately took action and pulled the man out.
"Awoo!" Suddenly there was a silly cry, and a giant white dragon rushed out from the clouds and bit one of the Hydra's heads.
Chen Jing heard its cry from afar: "Sister! I'm sorry!"
The Hydra screamed: "What are you doing, you idiot!"
"Big sis! Next time I'll wait for you to bite me! Let this human go."
Lena stared blankly at this funny scene. The white dragon was hanging on the head of the Hydra, and the other eight heads of the Hydra kept hitting it.
"I can't bite you, you idiot, come down quickly!"
"I don't care if you promise me!"
"Ahhhh! I promise you!"
The white dragon flew up again and turned around happily. The Hydra's bite quickly healed. It glared at the white dragon fiercely and said, "Didn't your mother teach you to be kind to your elders?"
"No, she herself often quarrels with my great-grandfather."
"Tsk tsk tsk, alright, alright, take her and get out of here. I'm going to sleep. Don't even think about catching a single fish this month!"
"Ahhh! Big sister, give me another one! I'll trade it for gold!"
"If I don't change it, why would I need that thing?"
"What do you want?"
The Hydra shook its neck (Nine Heads Synchronous): "Want a swamp."
"Change it."
"No, I want the swamp. I'm the lord of the swamp, but now I'm sleeping in this freshwater lake. It's too hard for me."
Chen Jing's mouth twitched. Another mythical creature with a hard life.
While Bai Long and Hydra were arguing, Lena walked over to Chen Jing. She held her two-handed sword and stared blankly at the scene in the lake: "What on earth is this?"
"This dragon is like this, stupid but has a good temper." Chen Jing also noticed that Hydra also liked Bailong, and they were more likely to tease him than to curse at him.
It’s a pity that Tiehanhan really knew the answer and kept answering seriously.

Macro map settings
The capital of No Man's Land is Ring City, located northwest of the center. There are seven countries in the north, namely the Northern Federation, the Kingdom of Gness, the Empire of Coris, and four countries split from the Northern Federation, namely the Kingdom of Yuris, the Principality of Hertel, the City-State of Borungen, and the Kingdom of Semer.
With the exception of the Kingdom of Yuris, whose capital is Galins, the Kingdom of Gness, the Principality of Hertel, the City-State of Borungen, and the Kingdom of Semer are all named after their capitals. (The Northern Federation is in the center, with the four small kingdoms and the Kingdom of Gness to the west. East of the Northern Federation is the Moon Plains, and beyond the Moon Plains lies the Corris Empire. This Empire is the largest of the Northern Federation and Corris, roughly twice the size of the entire Kingdom of Gness combined with the four small kingdoms. The Kingdom of Yuris is roughly the same size as the Kingdom of Gness, while the other three are quite small. The Moon Plains is roughly the same size as the Kingdom of Gness combined with the Kingdom of Yuris.)
The capital of the Northern Federation is Vigaro. In fact, all fifty-five city-states can be called capitals. The location of the parliament is not certain, but the current speaker Charlotte is from Vigaro.
There are three nations in the southern region: East Soros (capital Romulus), Southland, and the Archipelago Alliance (capital Geno Island). (East Soros is about one-tenth the size of the Unclaimed Land, the same size as Southland, and the Archipelago Alliance occupies the entire center of the archipelago.)
The central area of the archipelago is the alliance, but the surrounding areas are the territory of pirates. Although there are no Four Emperors or Seven Warlords of the Sea, there are still big pirates called "Island Masters".
The entire area of Borderlands is a perfect circle, occupying most of the center of the map.
No Man's Land:
Black Abyss is in the southwest, Ring Seal City is in the northwest of the center, Hurricane Camp and Mountain Kingdom are in the north, each occupying half.
The northern part of the Borderlands is a plateau with tropical humid areas such as rainforests and swamps, while the northwest part is a desert. Rivers run throughout the area.
(This is the map from the previous book, slightly modified and used in this small world. However, the technology level in the previous book is in the near future, while this is in the Middle Ages.)
