Chapter 53: Intersecting Moments (Part 2) (Happy New Year)

In a flash, they found themselves standing on a rooftop. It was a very ordinary cement platform, neither made of special military composite materials nor metal. It was ordinary, yet also very extraordinary.

This is an underground city. The festive atmosphere is everywhere. There are lights and red lights lined up along the streets, and the people on the streets are also in high spirits. Standing here, Chen Jing seemed to have returned to his hometown, but the virtual moon in the sky told him that this was not the Earth.

"What is this?" The woman leaned on the railing, her face filled with surprise. A moment ago, she was in a square, and now she'd been transported here in an instant. How could the humans on a planet long since destroyed by Lich ever have seen such a thing? "Is this an enemy attack?" Seeing the red light, it wasn't surprising to have such thoughts.

"No, it's a festival."

"That might not be the case later." A voice echoed in Chen Jing's mind. It was the God of Time.

"Please don't call me the God of Time. I don't like this name." She protested.

Chen Jing took out his cell phone, but was stunned. This time he could send messages, but there was only one group: [Temple of the Gods].

The members are three people including Chen Jing, the God of Time and her sister, the God of Destiny.

He curled his lips: "You really ask for too much."

"It's just that some creator god didn't bother to give us sisters names."

"Cough cough cough." Chen Jing suddenly started coughing.

A soldier came over and asked, "Are you okay?"

"It's okay." Chen Jing waved his hand. He had to fill the hole he had dug that year, even with tears in his eyes. "What do you want to be called?"

"Of course you took it."

"Just call it..." Chen Jing, who has trouble naming, covered his head and said, "Call it... Lafite?"

"Isn't that too perfunctory!?"

"...Sophia?"

"It's something I can consider."

Chen Jing hesitated for a moment: "Just call you Anna, and your sister's name is Axia." Chen Jing slapped his head.

"What's the meaning?"

"The name is just a code name, haha." Chen Jing scratched the back of his head guiltily.

Anna finally calmed down, but Chen Jing had questions for her: "What will happen next?"

"Amidst the joy of the festival, humans were ambushed by alien intelligent machines and quickly defeated." Anna's tone was calm.

Chen Jing was stunned: "How much time is left?"

"About now."

As soon as he finished speaking, a sound of structural compression was heard. Chen Jing's face turned pale.

"Why didn't you say so earlier!" Chen Jing asked a traditional question.

"You didn't ask!" was the traditional answer.

He turned around immediately: "Find cover!"

This is no joke. The strength of these alien omnics ranks among the strongest among all Lih armies, with some "Emperors" even rivaling them. In terms of warfare, they surpass the Lih itself, and overwhelming firepower is their preferred fighting style: a brutal tactic of razing a target area to the ground and then picking up the pieces of enemy debris to finish off the fight.

Compared to alien omnics, human omnics were like gentle lambs. But that wasn't Chen Jing's biggest fear. His biggest headache was that these guys loved to clean up the place, not caring if there were any enemies.

Alien intelligent machines, as the vanguard of the attack on Earth, plowed the entire surface over and over again within 24 hours of the start of the war. Human resistance was constantly interrupted at the beginning, and the nuclear weapons released later were easily intercepted. These alien intelligent machines were still the earliest versions, and the ones Chen Jing encountered now were at least three major versions later.

Chen Jing's only reliance is on his mobile phone to summon gods, but he also faces a problem - "The mythical creatures you summon to our universe can only appear in the era of your original body. In other words, to help you now, that god must have powers similar to mine." Anna explained.

There are many gods, but not many of them involve time. At least the god of time in Norse mythology is Novir, a giant. Logically, he should not be too weak, but the problem is, his wife is Hela, and Hela... she is still a child. Chen Jing guessed that the god of time in this timeline is still a child as well. Even if he has power after birth, his strength is not at the level of the main god, and he cannot solve the problem Chen Jing is facing now.

So the only target left is a certain evil god's lair.

[Pigeon Mirror: Is there any big boss who has the time and power to spare? I have a lot of fun here.]

【Bubble: Count me in! 】

[Lord of Tindalos: Choose one of the two.]

[Nayako: I think I can do it! ]

【Bubble: No, you can’t. 】

[Nayako: That's not necessarily true. As long as we perform the ritual, we can transcend the time difference and descend.]

[Pigeon Mirror: I'm looking for someone to save the world! Not to destroy it!]

[Nayako: Why didn't you tell me earlier? I won't come. When will Azathoth come back? I miss her.]

[Ghros: +1]

Chen Jing closed his phone. He had just sent the address to Yog-Sothoth. As for bringing the Lord of Tindalos with him, he didn't dare. If the two gods started fighting without regard for their dignity, there would be no one to stop them. By then, the planet would be crushed in an instant.

The main reason I chose Bubble is that his stories are generally lame, with stories like his son being mauled to death by a dog, his incarnation's backdoor being used to gain access to others, and his knowledge of pyramid schemes. The Lord of Tindalos has minions who chase and bite time travelers (they wander through time and chase and bite anyone they encounter until they die), and I imagine his original character wouldn't have a very good temper.

"Ahhh!" Chen Jing looked up and saw a huge mechanical arm tearing the sky apart, revealing the starry sky and infinite points of light outside. As this huge intelligent machine poked its monster-like head in, the crowd boiled over and looked for a safe place everywhere.

Chen Jing took a deep breath: "Hear my call! Lord of the Endless Void! Star Mover! Solid Foundation! Master of Earthquakes! Conqueror of Terror! Creator of Pain! Destroyer! Victor of Glory! Son of Void and Chaos! Guardian of the Abyss! God of Original Darkness! Lord of Dimensions! Enigmatic Sage! Guardian of Secrets! Master of Labyrinth! Master of Angles! God of Nighthawks! The Last Tip! Lord of Gates! Path-Maker! Almighty and Eternal Lord of the Beginning! Umer At-Tawil! Iak-Sathath!! Yog-Sothoth NAFL'FTHAGN!!! Your servant is calling you!" The summoning words in this bubble are quite long.

"I got it." The woman with super long gray hair, eyes like stars, and indifferent expression, was a girl the two of them had met before. Chen Jing had met her before when Bubble came to pick up Azathoth.

"These are the enemies." She pointed at the omnics, the corners of her mouth rising.

Chen Jing was stunned: "Can you handle it?"

"Hey, don't underestimate the gods. One is infinite, and one gives birth to all things." Countless shadows began to appear behind her, and they were constantly becoming fuller.

"You can't be creating something on the spot!"

"So what? Your power is already very weak here, and my power is not suppressed much. I am very close to my original body now." One of the complete three pillars of gods.
