Chapter 9 Daily Black Odin

Chen Jing opened his eyes and found himself still in the car. Ai was sleeping against Brendel, with Fenrir lying on top of him. Jasmine sat to his right, her back as straight as ever.

"Hey, we're almost at the station." Chen Jing nudged Fenrir, and his golden eyes met his. "Chen Jing... so soon? Only five minutes."

Chen Jing remembered the dream he had just had, which was clearly of Fenrir. He nodded, "Yes, we're here. It must have slowed down, as it took five minutes."

"Because a pipeline was broken by the aftermath, we had to take a long detour to get here." said a passenger omnic.

Chen Jing nodded and looked at Jasmine: "Why are you following me?"

"You are the boss." Ai answered as a matter of course.

"We are friends." Fenrir said.

Brenhil pointed at Fenrir.

Jasmine nodded.

"Ahhhh! I mean, why did you guys come to my house together in the middle of the day instead of going home?"

Fenrir was stunned. "I can't go back. It's a one-way street. If I want to go back, the old thief has to come pick me up. I won't give in to her unless she stops pestering my mother! Humph."

The amount of information was a bit overwhelming. Chen Jing rubbed his brows and looked at Brunhill. The other party looked as if "don't worry, I'm here for you", but... it was because you were here that he was worried!

Jasmine replied, "Because you are the new admiral, and I will be working with you for a long time in the future, so I want to get to know you better." She spoke in a businesslike tone, but why was she smiling?

Chen Jing finally looked at Ai, and Ai smiled foolishly.

"..." It was as if ten thousand Fenrir were galloping through Chen Jing's heart.

He is a failed writer who lives in another place and has no friends. The last time he talked to a girl before traveling through time was when he went home for the New Year. Then, three sentences of his made his friend's marriage happen. According to him, because of the comparison with Chen Jing, no matter how ordinary a man is, he becomes handsome. He is an emotionless pigeon coder.

Thinking of this, Chen Jing's face turned pale. He looked at Fenrir in his arms, at Jasmine, then at the strangely dressed Brunhilde across from him, and at the yandere Ai.

Does this count as a Dragon Aotian start? Then he touched his face, it seemed that he couldn't release the aura of a king.

As expected, it doesn't work. I'm a lazy person like me. The reason I wrote books was because I had no friends and I wanted to entertain myself. Then it failed until now, but it's mostly for fun (everyone who fails says that it's because of their hobby. Coincidentally, the great writer said the same thing).

"Get off." He stood up, and Fenrir naturally slid down, bounced up again after landing, and stood behind him, revealing half of his head, as if shy.

Chen Jing curled his lips in disdain and asked, "Why weren't you embarrassed when you were lying on top of me and pressing my limbs until they were numb?"

The two of them came out first.

The wolf-eared girl looked at Brunel carrying Ai out, shook her ears, and ran over to touch Ai's face. Because Brunel was very tall for her, she had to jump up, so the thing that touched her face turned into a fan.

Ai was stunned and immediately got angry: "Don't give me a chance!"

"Hehehe, you are so weak, you can't do anything to me." Fenrir said.

Borenhill squinted at Fenrir and sneered, "The homework your mother gave you is still here with me. Do you want to start doing it tonight?"

Fenrir immediately became cowardly and shrank back to Chen Jing as if his tail was stepped on: "Lolulu, come and catch me!" However, the spirit of seeking death was burning.

Chen Jing suddenly felt a headache. He rubbed Fenrir's soft hair and looked at Borenhill: "What kind of homework is it? It sounds interesting."

"Here, 'Five Thousand Questions on Wolf Cultivation of the Demonic Wolf'."

Fenrir exploded: "...Didn't we agree on a thousand questions!?"

"Because Odin changed his mind at the last minute."

"That's exactly what she asked me to do!"

"No, it's the great god Loki."

"Then how can you change your mind?"

"Because Loki's original words were, 'We can't let the little one bother us so much. Find her some homework. If Fenrir gets busy, she'll forget what she's here for.'"

“…”

"Then, Odin's understanding is, assign some homework."

After hearing this, Chen Jing sighed, "She must be a devil."

"You are the devil, Odin is the cutest!" Brunhilde looked like a crazy protective mother.

Fenrir was not to be outdone: "My mother is not bad either."

Chen Jing rubbed his brows. Is it really okay to put these two together?

"By the way, Brunhild, do you know Sigurd?" In his memory, these two seemed to be a golden pair.

"My best friend." Brunhilde nodded.

It seems to have become feminine.

After walking a few steps, Chen Jing turned around and saw Jasmine chatting with Ai, and the topic seemed difficult to understand.

"Admiral." Someone called him. Chen Jing looked over and saw Brunhilde shaking his head to indicate that it was not her. Chen Jing looked around but there was no one there. Just as he was wondering, a hand grabbed his right hand. It was soft and very cold.

Fenrir held him tightly, and Chen Jing couldn't believe that someone with thick eyebrows and big eyes could do such fancy things. But the dog's paws were easy to touch, so Chen Jing didn't care.

The door to his room was closed. Chen Jing searched his wallet and realized he had forgotten his door card. He said to the others, "I'll go find someone to open it..."

Fenrir hid the door behind her, but the huge door was much bigger than her, which made her look particularly cute. However, an old straight man like Chen Jing was completely stupid and said nothing.

Jasmine knocked lightly on the door frame and said, "Just make do with it tonight. I'll keep watch."

Chen Jing nearly spit out a mouthful of blood and said, "Do you really have to camp at my house?"

Instructor, that's what the kids call her now.

But her name wasn't Eliza before. It was a very common name. This was the only thing an omnic could decide completely for himself.

In human terms, she was a war hero, a Hades-class MY60, a former Hero-class tactical unit. During the war, her fleet encountered a Lich. For a fleet with only one capital ship, this meant total annihilation, but in the crucial moment, she stood up and blocked the Lich's path.

At the cost of her own complete destruction, she managed to hold back the young Lih. This feat earned her only a cane and a medal. For her, the war ended at that moment, and she was ordered to instruct the last batch of admirals.

The students all said that the blind old woman was too harsh, but she didn't take it to heart, because these children would probably never come back after leaving this door, and she was almost destroyed.

So she was always so strict, and was even the only teacher who would wake up students who were sleeping during class - she taught tactical unit operations.

"Maybe I'm tired too."
