Later, she thought about what she could do in the next few days. While thinking, she planned in her mind. After dinner, she wanted to clean up the dishes, but Mother Jiang stopped her and said, "Okay, you've worked hard all day. Take a break. Let me clean up here."
Jiang Xiaoci felt that his parents were working harder, and was about to insist when he heard a knock on the door outside the yard.
The sound was neither fast nor slow, three knocks and two thuds, very regular.
The Jiang family was puzzled, and Jiang's mother said, "Xiao Ci, open the door and see who's here."
Jiang Xiaoci said "oh", and although he felt strange, he was not too worried. It was late at night, and even if there was something, he would not choose this time to come.
She walked quickly out of the living room and into the small courtyard. When she opened the door, she saw a man in a gray-blue coat, with a handsome face and thin body, standing outside the door, looking at her with a clear smile.
He subconsciously called her: "Girl."
The voice was gentle, with a hint of inexplicable emotion.
Jiang Xiaoci's face flushed instantly. She looked at him in surprise, then in delight: "Why are you here?"
Lu Zhoushan cleared his throat and said lazily, "I came to see you. Are you free?"
Jiang Xiaoci felt a little embarrassed. He came here specially not just to see her, but also because of a sweet feeling in his heart. She stood there with a red face, like a shy lily about to bloom, green and shy.
"Yes, wait for me for a moment." She said, without even thinking of inviting him in to sit for a while, and turned around and ran back into the room.
Lu Zhoushan stood outside her yard, feeling awkward and then unable to laugh.
The bottom is still small, and he actually left the guest at the door and ran away. While laughing, he also felt that he came too abruptly and had nothing in his hands, so it was really not appropriate to go and greet him. So he stood outside for a while, waiting for Jiang Xiaoci.
Jiang's parents looked at their daughter, blushing and hanging their heads, and hurried in, saying only, "Dad, Mom, he's here."
Jiang Decai and his wife were surprised. Before they realized who this 'he' was referring to, Jiang's mother smiled and said, "Is it the couple that Matchmaker Wang introduced to you?"
Jiang Xiaoci nodded, and Jiang Decai frowned and glanced outside: "Why don't you invite someone in to sit down?"
Jiang Xiaoci said, "Next time, Mom and Dad, I won't tell you. I'll just change my clothes and go out. I'll be back later. If it's too late, don't wait for me. He will take me back."
As she spoke, she ran into the bedroom, quickly changed into the blue ruffled jacket that she had worn on the day of the blind date, and hurried out, leaving without even saying goodbye.
Jiang's parents watched her hurried in and hurried out, and both laughed.
"He's still quite a child." Mother Jiang smiled and shook her head.
Jiang Decai also smiled, feeling relieved and happy. "It seems your daughter is quite attentive to him. No wonder they say that when a girl grows up, she should be kept. If she is kept, she will leave her family with her parents and carry a grudge. We can only wait and see her get married, have children, and enjoy the happiness of having grandchildren."
Mother Jiang burst out laughing when she heard this. "We've only just started dating, and you're thinking too far ahead."
