Although Yun Qi didn't know why, he still nodded: "Okay, I understand, Father."
After spending his last leisure time at home, Yun Qi flew off to find the teleportation array. He had already sent a message to Lu Yun as his father had instructed, asking Lu Yun to wait for him at the door.

Yun Qi forced a smile, trying several times before finally managing a full one as he looked at Lu Yun. He asked, "Lu Yun, how long have you been waiting?"
He had been standing there for so long that Lu Yun thought Yun Qi wouldn't come back. His whole body was stiff and numb. He lifted his foot slightly, wanting to walk over, but found himself like an unoiled, rusty robot, his joints cracking with every movement.
His Adam's apple bobbed: "I didn't stand there for long."
Yun Qi: "You're lying, your legs are shaking."
Lu Yun looked down and smiled wryly, "How embarrassing."
Seeing the smile on Lu Yun's face, Yun Qi couldn't help but rush forward and hug Lu Yun tightly: "I'm sorry to have kept you waiting."
Lu Yun was taken aback. The action warmed him up, and his heart felt like it was being boiled in water, incredibly hot. His eyes softened, and he reached out to hug Yun Qi back, saying softly, "It's okay, it's good that you're back."
The two embraced quietly in the corridor. The lights went out completely again after a long silence. After a long while, Lu Yun asked softly, "Xiao Qi, I have something to tell you. Shall we go to my place together?"
Yun Qi's heart stirred. He also had something to say to Lu Yun. Lu Yun was willing to wait for him for so long, which meant that he must also have feelings for him.

Yun Qi smiled, her eyes crinkling, radiating joy from head to toe.
"I think the other gifts are just so-so, but this one is my favorite."
Realizing that Yun Qi was talking about which gift she liked best, Lu Yun's earlobes turned red. He raised his eyebrows, reached out and pulled open his collar to reveal smooth skin, and leaned closer: "Would you like to try it, little Qi? It's your favorite gift."
Yun Qi's breathing became heavy and rapid. How could she not think that Lu Yun's actions were nothing short of blatant seduction?
The yang energy flowed in through his nasal cavity, wrapping around Yun Qi's heart like vines.
Looking at Lu Yun's submissive demeanor, Yun Qi found him adorable and decided to tease him, asking, "Aren't you afraid I won't agree?"
Lu Yun was in a daze. In his results, there was no option for Yun Qi to disagree. Now, hearing Yun Qi say this, his heart tightened, and he looked straight at him: "Will you reject me?"
Yun Qi deliberately kept a serious face and didn't speak, looking like she was thinking. Lu Yun became anxious and frowned: "Do you want to reject me? Xiao Qi? Don't you like me too?"
Seeing Lu Yun's eager eyes, Yun Qi opened her mouth and then closed it again, but couldn't help but say, "That night, you didn't kiss me. I thought about it a lot. I wondered if you were lying to me, if you were disgusted with me."
Yun Qi felt ashamed when he thought about how much he had overthought things that night he was rejected. He wanted to ask why Lu Yun hadn't explained to him sooner, but before he could say it, he realized that he hadn't given Lu Yun a chance to explain.
He no longer felt ashamed and recounted everything that had happened that night. The more he talked, the redder his face became. By the time he finished, Yun Qi's face was unnaturally red.
He finished speaking haltingly, then looked at Lu Yun, only to meet her eyes full of laughter: "What are you laughing at?"
Lu Yun didn't say anything, but leaned over and gave him a quick kiss, fulfilling what they hadn't finished doing the night before.
With Yun Qi looking stunned, he gave her another kiss: "Is that enough, Xiao Qi?"
"I didn't know that not kissing you would make you think so much. It's my fault. I was thinking that I hadn't confessed to you yet, and if I kissed you like this, would you think I was too easy?"
"So, I want to confess my feelings to you before we do these intimate things."
Yun Qi hadn't expected Lu Yun to value him so much. He pursed his lips, trying to control his smile, but the corners of his mouth just wouldn't stay up. He couldn't help but kiss Lu Yun and said, "I was overthinking things. I didn't give you a chance to explain. I should be the one apologizing to you."
The two had a completely open conversation, and their eyes were filled with affection as they looked at each other.
