Chapter 35
Ever since he saw that non-human boy that night, Lu Yun had been suffering from insomnia for several days. He kept thinking about him and even went back to tell his family that he had fallen in love with a non-human boy.
The whole family was terrified, thinking that Lu Yun was bewitched by a ghost or something. They invited several Taoist priests to perform rituals, but each of them left after spouting some mystical nonsense. The only master they invited said it was nothing, that it was their son's destined marriage.
Lu Yun also said that he would find that boy, date him, and marry him.
At first, Lu's parents thought their son was joking, but they were still talking about it for several weeks.
The Lu family parents' attitude also changed from initial worry to habit and indifference.
Lu Yun went to that classroom several more times afterward, staying until the early hours of the morning each day, hoping to see the boy again. But he waited for a week, then two weeks, and the boy still didn't come.
Lu Yun was inevitably disappointed. He thought he would never see the boy again, but unexpectedly, the situation changed so quickly.
He had just returned to his dorm after class when he found his door open, even though he had closed it before leaving. Thinking a thief had broken into the dorm, Lu Yunxin tensed up, frowned, and ran back. He saw a boy bending over tidying up his desk. No one had come to that spot since his previous roommate moved out.
Lu Yun had heard from his two other roommates that another roommate was coming to their dorm, but at that time he was completely focused on that boy and didn't care about any of that.
It seems this is the new roommate.
Yun Qi was packing his things when he smelled an extremely sweet and yang energy. His eyes lit up – this was the person he was looking for! This person's yang energy was incredible! He had only eaten a little bit that day, yet he had been able to stay full all this time!
He wanted to hold onto this owner tightly!
Yun Qi turned around, a slight smile on his face, and greeted Lu Yun: "Hello, my name is Yun Qi, we'll be roommates from now on!"
Lu Yun was stunned when he saw Yun Qi's face. His heart stopped for a few seconds before it started beating even more violently. His palms were sweating uncontrollably. He never expected that the boy he had been longing for would actually appear in his dormitory, and that he would be his roommate!
What is this called? What is this called?!
This is it! A new lease on life has been found after a dark period!
Lu Yun suppressed his excitement, afraid of startling Yun Qi, and stepped forward to hold Yun Qi's hand demurely: "Hello, my name is Lu Yun."
Yun Qi smiled at him, a bright smile spreading across her face.
Lu Yun felt like his heart was about to jump out of his chest. He pursed his lips, his earlobes turning red, and said, "I've seen you before."
Yun Qi's heart skipped a beat. He'd seen me before? When? Could it have been that night? That shouldn't be possible; aren't humans supposed to be unable to see succubi? Had Lu Yun seen me?
Yun Qi's heart was screaming, but she maintained her composure, pretending not to understand Lu Yun's words and tilting her head: "Huh? What are you talking about? I don't understand?"
Lu Yun licked his lips, stepped forward, and whispered, "That night, you flew in through the window and leaned against me, saying you wanted to absorb my yang energy. Have you forgotten?"
Lu Yun's heart pounded, fearing that Yun Qi would say he didn't remember at any moment. He stared intently at Yun Qi's face, not missing the panic and strong composure on his face, while stubbornly saying, "No, what do you mean by flying over? I don't understand what you're talking about."
Lu Yun laughed. Little liar, still trying to fool him? But if Yun Qi doesn't want to tell him now, then he won't. Anyway, they'll have time later. Let him slowly let Yun Qi tell him.
