Chapter 41 I Want to Cry

Jiang Daoli is a high-earning professional, not a thug. Fighting in a place like this is really unnecessary. If the police are called and the news gets back to the company, it will be even more detrimental to him.

"Brother Jiang, this kind of woman is obviously a prostitute who's been ridden by many men. What's there to care about? Let's keep eating and not let this kind of trash affect our mood."

"One of the people next to Jiang Daoli said, his face full of flattery."

Jiang Daoli was very satisfied with his subordinate's reaction, which gave him a way out without losing face.

"You're absolutely right. I wouldn't be interested in this kind of person."

After saying that, he turned to leave.

"I'm so stupid."

Jiang Daoli paused, then turned around angrily.

Chen Yang ate the fish with a calm expression, which almost made him doubt that he had just imagined it.

"What did you say? Say it again if you dare!"

Jiang Daoli said angrily.

Chen Yang wiped his mouth, looked at him expressionlessly, and said, "I don't usually like to swear or mention my family, but since you're so sincerely asking me to say it again, then I'll say it. Listen carefully, I'll f*** you!"

Not only Jiang Daoli and his group heard it, but people at several nearby tables also heard it, and one man even laughed out loud.

Jiang Daoli's face turned pale and then red, and his eyes were practically spitting fire.

"Want to fight? Let me give you a heads-up. You just introduced yourself, and there are security cameras here. I can't take on all of you by myself, but if I focus on you, I can still fight you to the death. We can talk the rest at the police station. I'm unemployed, so I don't mind spending a few days in there."

Chen Yang's expressionless words were undoubtedly a bucket of cold water poured on Jiang Daoli's head.

To be honest, an ordinary person would have already attacked Chen Yang by now, but Jiang Daoli didn't dare to.

He has worked diligently at the company for so many years, how could he lose his position because of jealousy?

After giving a cold snort, Jiang Daoli simply walked away.

"Sir, here is your bill."

The waiter had noticed them earlier and rushed over when he saw Jiang Daoli was about to leave.

Jiang Daoli took the bill with a cold face, glanced at it, and almost spat out blood.

In an attempt to win Mo Xi's favor, he had boasted that he would put their bill on his own.

He didn't care about the amount of money, but the thought of having to pay the bill after being humiliated made him even angrier.

Seeing the waiter's smiling eyes, Jiang Daoli had no choice but to obediently pay.

The owner behind the restaurant was someone he couldn't afford to offend. How could he dare to mess with someone who could build such a restaurant on the shores of West Lake?

After watching Jiang Daoli and his group leave, Mo Xi gave Chen Yang a slight smile.

Are you angry?

"It's alright, just a little annoyed."

"You haven't changed in this respect; you never change your expression when you swear."

"Isn't this more effective?"

"That makes sense."

At this moment, another man in a suit walked up, causing Chen Yang to frown.

"Hey bro, don't get me wrong, I just want to get to know you."

The man smiled and then extended his hand: "I like your way of doing things. Let's get acquainted. My name is Hou Yu, a game designer."

As the saying goes, one doesn't hit a smiling face. Hou Yu had no ill intentions, and Chen Yang didn't need to put on airs.

"Chen Yang runs an inn."

"An inn? Where is it? I'd like to take my partner there to stay sometime."

Chen Yang and Hou Yu exchanged contact information, and Chen Yang also sent Hou Yu the address of the inn.

Hou Yu didn't waste any more words and left directly.

"Keep eating," Chen Yang said.

Jiang Daoli and the others did not affect Chen Yang's appetite; he ate every last dish on the table.

"Are you very hungry?" Mo Xi asked curiously.

Chen Yang shook his head. He wasn't hungry at all; it was just a habit he'd developed in the Micro World.

"It's just that I don't like wasting food. Let's go."

His phone suddenly rang. He picked it up and looked at it, his expression turning slightly cold.

Mo Xi, who knew Chen Yang well, knew that Chen Yang was somewhat angry.

"What's wrong."

"Those people still won't give up."

Chen Yang sneered, then picked up the wooden chopsticks on the table, wiped them clean, and casually put them in his pocket, leaving a red 100-yuan bill on the table.

This surprised Mo Xi slightly.

She knew Chen Yang's abilities very well and was aware of how capable he was.

She admired Chen Yang in many ways and was attracted to him, but Chen Yang's martial arts skills were really just average.

Has he made significant progress in this area over the past few years?

Because she knew Chen Yang well, Mo Xi knew that Chen Yang was confident in doing this, so she didn't say anything and obediently followed Chen Yang out of the restaurant.

As Chen Yang left, he glanced at an alley next to the restaurant, then sneered and walked into a sparsely populated path.

They had just left when Jiang Daoli and his group emerged from the alley.

"Do you think my money is so easy to spend?"

He winked at his companions, and the group quietly followed.

Chen Yang and Mo Xi walked side by side ahead, and there were fewer and fewer people around them, as if they were deliberately heading towards less crowded areas.

"Those two are probably looking for a secluded place to get intimate. Good, that'll make things more interesting."

Jiang Daoli cursed under his breath.

Chen Yang and Mo Xi turned into a deserted alley, which made Jiang Daoli's face light up with joy.

"Get ready to do it. Just teach them a lesson, but don't hit the women."

"Don't worry, Brother Jiang, we understand. We'll just let you ravage us a bit after we catch you."

Jiang Daoli chuckled, quite pleased with his subordinate's tact.

He certainly wouldn't rape or beat someone into the hospital, but he wouldn't mind taking advantage of them.

Jiang Daoli and his group of five were confident they could handle a couple.

They entered the alley with sinister grins, only to find Chen Yang and Mo Xi watching them calmly, Chen Yang even rubbing chopsticks against the wall. This caught them off guard.

Then, they saw Chen Yang rush forward, holding a pair of chopsticks, and stab them hard into Jiang Daoli's thigh.

The chopsticks at this restaurant were special; they were Japanese-style chopsticks, extremely sharp. Chen Yang even sharpened them a couple of times, and the chopsticks easily pierced through Jiang Daoli's pants and inserted into his thigh.

Jiang Daoli stared blankly at his thigh before feeling the excruciating pain and letting out a shrill scream.

Chen Yang pulled the chopsticks out, blood splattering everywhere. He rubbed the blood-stained chopsticks against the wall a couple of times.

"Want to continue? All of you together?"

He said it calmly.

These social elites had never seen anything like this before, reacting so decisively yet remaining so calm.

They never imagined they would be terrified by a pair of chopsticks, but it was true. To them, the bleeding chopstick was no different from a knife, and the other chopstick seemed to want to get blood on it too, its tip pointing at them.

"What do you do?" one person asked, their voice trembling.

"I run a small shop," Chen Yang replied.

Ten minutes ago, these social elites would have scoffed at these words. But now, they suddenly gave Chen Yang the feeling of being a reclusive master.

"Quickly stop the bleeding and take me to the hospital, now!" Jiang Daoli roared.

The group felt as if they had been granted a pardon. They dared not look at Chen Yang again, pressed on Jiang Daoli's wound, and left without looking back.

Chen Yang then casually tossed the chopsticks onto the ground.

Looking at Chen Yang's expression, Mo Xi realized that Chen Yang was still very calm, not just pretending to be composed.

She realized that she really couldn't see through Chen Yang anymore.

Why are your eyes red?

"I feel like crying."

"Why?" Chen Yang asked in surprise. Mo Xi was not the kind of woman who would be frightened to tears by such a scene.

"I just want to cry."
