Chen Liu walked straight forward, and under the curious gazes of several children, he went to the small blackboard, glanced at it, and wrote down a few equations.
"This is the simplest step, and the calculation is much faster. You just need to apply the formula. You see, there's a pattern; all this type of problem is the same."
The two arguing children stared at the blackboard in astonishment, their eyes practically glued to it. One was biting his nails as he did calculations, while the other fidgeted with his fingers and muttered to himself.
Chen Liu didn't stop, but walked to another blackboard, which was covered with numbers, including the familiar digit pi.
However, most people are only familiar with the first dozen or so characters; the remaining hundreds are like gibberish to them.
Chen Liu looked at the blackboard and muttered, "3..."
He read it for a few minutes, then picked up the chalk and changed one of the numbers.
“This is a 4, not a 6,” Chen Liu said.
The child who was reciting pi was stunned. He quickly pulled out the pi table to check and found that it was indeed his mistake. He immediately showed a disappointed expression, as if he was about to cry.
The other two boys spent a long time calculating and found that Chen Liu's solution was indeed the simplest. One of them immediately ran out and then ran back to get the computer, while the other took out an extremely thick notebook and started calculating.
"Su'er's mother, I've finished slapping myself in the face," Chen Liu said with a smile.
"Well done," Li Su'er said proudly.
Liu Yin looked at Chen Liu with some surprise; it seemed that Chen Liu had more potential than she had imagined.
At this moment, Chen Liu whispered to Chen Yang, "Dad, actually there was another mistake he made when he recited pi, which I didn't point out. I was afraid he would really cry."
Chen Yang asked with some curiosity, "How many digits of pi can you recite?"
Chen Liu said, "There are 3612 digits. Since you won't let me study, I've been memorizing pi out of boredom."
"I've noticed you sometimes draw circles on the ground. Are you reciting pi from memory?"
Chen Liu smiled and said, "Not entirely. Sometimes I also do some math problems, or practice calligraphy, or copy some ancient poems."
At this moment, a little girl who had been sitting next to him playing with a Rubik's Cube walked over. The Rubik's Cube she was holding had a strange shape, and Chen Yang knew at a glance that he couldn't solve it.
However, the little girl had almost finished assembling the puzzle, with only one side remaining.
"Can you solve this?" the little girl asked Chen Liu, handing him the Rubik's Cube.
Chen Liu glanced at it and said, "Not now, I haven't studied the Rubik's Cube formula."
"Rubbish."
The little girl glanced at Chen Liu indifferently, then silently walked aside to continue studying the Rubik's Cube.
Chen Liu was taken aback; it was the first time anyone had ever spoken to him like that.
Li Su'er chuckled and asked, "What do you think, Chen Xiao La Garbage?"
Chen Liu rolled his eyes and said, "I just have a high IQ, not some omnipotent person who is born with knowledge. It's normal to have things I don't know."
Next, they visited several other teaching areas, some where classes were in session and others where students were interacting on their own.
This organization is very clever. They don't actually need to do anything; they just need to provide the simplest and most correct guidance.
When a group of geniuses collide, how can ordinary people possibly keep up with their thinking? Unless you really invite a group of people who are likely to win the Nobel Prize or have already won it, no one else can teach geniuses.
Liu Yin said that they do occasionally invite top scholars to give lectures, and they are very happy to do so because chatting with young geniuses can give them a lot of inspiration.
"You can rest assured to entrust Chenliu to me. We are not just an institution that only teaches. Here, they can receive the best education and also come into contact with peers whose intelligence is on par with theirs," Liu Yin said with a smile.
Mo Xi hesitated for a moment. Even someone as intelligent as her found it difficult to make a decision regarding her son.
"I've figured it out! I've figured it out!"
Just then, one of the children who had been doing math problems suddenly came over carrying a blackboard, his face beaming with excitement.
He placed the blackboard in front of Chen Liu: "Look!"
Upon closer inspection, Chen Liu was utterly astonished.
He had initially thought his calculation method was already the simplest, but the method on the blackboard was indeed even simpler. Although it was only slightly different, that slight difference represented a significant gap. The other person had used a formula he hadn't learned but could understand.
"See? I'm awesome, right?" the little boy said proudly.
"Not bad," Chen Liu said.
"You're pretty good too. I still have a few questions to solve today. How about we have a competition?"
"Okay!" Chen Liu said, then looked at the adults and asked, "Is that alright?"
“Go ahead.” Mo Xi nodded with a smile.
Chen Liu immediately followed the little boy to do math problems.
A group of children were having a lively discussion around the blackboard, and they were actually quite serious about it, like a group of elementary scholars. It was very cute.
"So, have you decided to let Chen stay here?" Liu Yin asked.
"Let me take another look at your food and accommodations," Mo Xi said.
Liu Yin smiled confidently. She was very confident in the accommodations and food provided by the organization; while the standards might not be the highest, they were certainly top-notch. They paid particular attention to the food.
Liu Yin took the three of them to see the cafeteria first, and they even ate there. The food was good, and the nutrition was very balanced, showing great attention to the children's brain and physical development.
When they arrived at the accommodation area, they ran into another newly arrived gifted boy and his parents.
"Are you new here too? Where are the children?"
The mother of the gifted boy asked.
"I'm playing by myself," Chen Yang said.
The mother frowned and looked at Liu Yin: "I sent my child here to study. He is destined to become one of the world's top talents. How can I feel at ease with your system? I don't want my son to be like everyone else, fading into obscurity while playing around."
Liu Yin said, "Don't worry, their play involves solving math problems. Their children are in kindergarten, and at this stage, it's most suitable for them to learn independently."
"Hmph, my son is already learning the material for the third year of junior high school when he's only six years old, and he even participated in the junior high school Olympiad. You can't relax for a moment when it comes to your child's studies. I plan to send him to a university in the United States next year. If you can't teach him well here, I'll find someone better to teach him."
"Rest assured, our educational methods and conditions are state-of-the-art."
"snort."
She gave a cold laugh and left with her son and husband. She was the only one talking the entire time; her son and husband remained completely silent.
Her husband hesitated several times before finally saying nothing, while her son remained expressionless throughout.
"Your son is so pitiful. With a mother like you, he'll be a mama's boy for life."
Chen Yang suddenly said.
