When they started laying stones on the well wall, Grandpa Xing Tu and his group hadn't found the turtle yet, but they did find a small crocodile, which satisfied their appetite.
"Have you all noticed that I feel much better these past few days, and my skin has also improved?"
During lunch break, Xia Yue suddenly said.
“Now that you mention it, it’s true. I haven’t felt tired much while working lately. I have plenty of energy and strength,” Yun Shi said.
He had just had his body synchronized a few days ago, and he felt much better right after the synchronization.
“This must be the effect of spiritual energy,” Wang Bing said.
The effects of Reiki are subtle and gradual; it can slowly improve a person's physical condition. It's like a universal body regulator.
They didn't notice anything at first, but after a few days, they started to feel that something was different.
They have improved a lot in terms of endurance and mental strength, and their physical strength has also improved a little.
This overall improvement has made them feel much better. They have energy for everything they do, everything tastes delicious, and they recover quickly when they are tired.
"At this rate, won't we turn into superheroes?" Chen Liu said, blinking.
"I don't think so," Mo Xi said hesitantly.
"Can we easily defeat Chen Yang?" Hou Yu asked excitedly.
“No,” Chen Yang said as he walked over, “because I’m also absorbing spiritual energy.”
"You're already so abnormal, what's the point of absorbing spiritual energy?" Hou Yu said.
"My physical abilities aren't much better than yours, and spiritual energy has been very effective in modifying my body," Chen Yang said.
Hou Yu immediately wore a bitter expression and said, "I've been getting hurt by you every day. I thought there was still a chance to turn things around, but it seems there's no hope."
Li Ye gently tugged at Hou Yu's sleeve and said, "It's okay, you're fine too."
Hou Yu immediately became happy.
"Hou Yu, when do you plan to marry Xiao Ye?" Li Su'er asked, raising an eyebrow.
"After the New Year," Hou Yu said.
"Um?"
Everyone turned to look. Li Su'er had only meant it as a joke, but Hou Yu had taken it seriously.
This was the first time anyone had heard the news that the two were getting married, and everyone immediately got excited, asking for details non-stop.
However, everyone consciously avoided Li Ye and instead went to ask Hou Yu. If they had asked Li Ye, the girl would probably have been frightened to tears by the group of people before they even got an answer.
Hou Yu said proudly, "I mustered up the courage to propose a few days ago, and Li Ye said yes. We set the date for after the New Year, but I'd like to hold the engagement banquet at the inn. What do you think, Chen Yang?"
Chen Yang laughed and said, "No problem, I won't charge you for the venue, but I won't give you a wedding gift. Instead, I'll give you a wedding present."
"No problem!" Hou Yu said with a smile.
You can tell he's really happy.
He and Li Ye grew up together, and their relationship seemed more like that of siblings. However, he had always liked Li Ye. Later, he finally managed to resolve Li Ye's inner conflict and they officially became a couple. Now, they are about to become husband and wife.
Hou Yu has finally achieved his goal. Everyone is very happy for him.
"Su'er, come here for a moment, I have something to give you," Chen Yang whispered to Li Su'er.
Li Su'er blinked curiously: "What is it?"
"You'll see when you get there," Chen Yang said with a smile.
He led Li Su'er to their cabin, and as soon as he opened the door, Li Su'er saw a bow hanging on the wall.
This bow is made of two bull horns, but it doesn't have the wild feel of bull horns at all. It has been polished to be delicate and smooth, and two phoenixes are carved on it. The carving is very good and very exquisite. The bull horn bow is so smooth that it looks like it has been soaked in oil.
The bowstring was made of the finest ox sinew and was stretched very taut.
Sunlight streamed into the room through the window, and the ox horn bow shone brightly in the sunlight.
Wow, so handsome! So incredibly handsome!
Li Su'er excitedly rushed forward, grabbed the ox horn bow, and held it with great affection, carefully stroking every inch of it.
"Alien Yang, where did you get this ox horn? This ox horn bow is amazing, and it's well-carved. Yu Xuan must have carved it."
Chen Yang nodded and said, "That's right, it was carved by Yu Xuan. The horn was something I found when I hunted a cow on my last trip."
"You've kept this from me for so long, are you planning to give me a surprise?" Li Su'er said happily.
"Aren't you surprised?" Chen Yang asked in return.
"Of course it's a surprise! But what day is it today?"
"Today is your first day at the inn, have you forgotten?" Chen Yang said with a smile.
Li Su'er was taken aback, then thought about it carefully. She seemed to have arrived around this time last year; had a year already passed?
"Time flies," she remarked.
Looking back on this year, they really did so much.
Especially in the micro-world, from just four people at the beginning to dozens of people now, they have established a camp.
They hunted, fought wolves, and battled lions and tigers; they planted, searched for resources, and cultivated the land; they domesticated and tamed horses and raised livestock; they built, from wooden houses and earthen stoves to mills and iron furnaces; they explored, from plains and lakes to high mountain rainforests.
They experienced so much this year. It doesn't seem like much at first glance, but when they realize that a year has passed, they look back and wonder how they could have accomplished so much in just one year.
"Why are you crying?" Chen Yang looked at Li Su'er in surprise and wiped away the tears on her face.
“Alien Yang, I think we’re amazing,” Li Su’er said with a smile, though tears still clung to her face, her true feelings unknown.
"So many feelings all of a sudden," Chen Yang said with a smile. "My emotions haven't caught up yet, please allow me a moment to process this."
"roll!"
Li Su'er laughed and scolded, then put the ox horn bow aside and hugged Chen Yang.
Chen Yang gently hugged Li Su'er, his eyes filled with emotion.
It's been a year. He has been the master of the micro-realm for a year now. These past three hundred days have felt like a dream to him.
Back then, Chen Yang, while not exactly self-destructive, lacked the vigor that someone his age should have.
It was the micro-world that reignited his vitality. He devoted himself to the construction of the micro-world, and he participated in every aspect of it, from barely surviving to where he is now.
If we're really talking about contributions, Chen Yang undoubtedly deserves the top spot.
From beginning to end, he never shirked any task he could do himself. Even now, with so many people in the micro-realm, he is still happy to carry a hoe and dig a well.
This is why everyone recognizes him as the realm master.
When Chen Yang first entered the micro-world, it was mostly out of interest, but also with a slight tendency to avoid it. Now, however, it's driven more by responsibility and passion.
He has a deep love for Microworld, a world he built from scratch.
He stood inside the small wooden house, as if he had returned to the time when he first entered the Micro Realm.
Has it been a year already?
It's the anniversary of Weijie, but there aren't any events. If you're interested, please leave a message for this poor, struggling author in the comments section, and then, please vote for me! (′???`)
