Chapter 541 Chen Yang, who rarely gets angry

Guo Zifeng explained the whole story to Chen Yang, and then apologized again:

"Chen Yang, I'm really sorry. I didn't expect him to quit his job that very day. He's desperate and actually went to spread rumors."

Chen Yang paused for a moment on the phone, then said, "Brother Guo, this is the last time."

Guo Zifeng, on the other end of the phone, breathed a sigh of relief. The fact that Chen Yang was still willing to call him Brother Guo proved that he wasn't really angry with him.

However, after hanging up the phone, Guo Zifeng suddenly realized that he had developed a sense of awe and respect for Chen Yang.

"Chen Yang, has he really grown this much?" Guo Zifeng couldn't help but ask himself.

Chen Yang's personality seems to have remained unchanged. However, in Guo Zifeng's eyes at the beginning, Chen Yang was just a very promising young man who was calm and composed, but still a young man. Now, he actually has a sense of awe towards Chen Yang. In other words, in the past two years, Chen Yang's image in his mind has been subtly magnified.

This is related to Chen Yang's status as a realm master, but Chen Yang's own growth has already earned him the respect of a seasoned veteran like Guo Zifeng.

The experiences Chen Yang has had over the past two years in the micro-world have helped him grow significantly; none of them have experienced as much as he has.

The population of the Micro-World has been steadily increasing, yet no chaos has emerged, and its development has proceeded smoothly without any unexpected incidents. Thinking about it carefully, to achieve this level of success, Chen Yang has grown far beyond just a little.

Guo Zifeng was sighing deeply, while Chen Yang had already driven home.

On Li Su'er's side, Chen Yang asked his father to put in a good word, saying that it was a custom in their hometown that the groom had to go home alone to visit all the relatives after the wedding.

Li Su'er had no suspicions and simply told Chen Yang to go and return as soon as possible.

Chen Yang drove for eleven hours straight to get back to his hometown.

He didn't go home, but drove directly to Cao Li's house.

When Chen Yang arrived at Cao Li's house, he found that Cao Li was not there.

"Chen Yang, Cao Li said he has a big business deal to do these days and won't see anyone who tries to contact him. Is there anything you need?"

Cao Li's elderly grandmother stepped forward to greet him warmly, while his parents just smiled awkwardly and didn't say anything.

Chen Yang gave them a cold glance.

Cao Li's parents both looked away, but Cao Li's grandmother remained expressionless.

“I don’t care where Cao Li is. I know you can contact him. If I don’t see him within twelve hours, you may have to come back to HZ with me. I’ll let you come back when I see him.”

Cao Li's parents both looked panicked. Cao Li's mother said loudly, "Chen Yang, you are threatening us. Do you know that this is illegal?"

"I know." Chen Yang nodded calmly: "You won't have a chance to call the police."

After Chen Yang finished speaking, he picked up the chopsticks on the table and slammed them down.

The chopsticks were stuck directly into the wall, half of them embedded. The ends of the chopsticks were still trembling slightly.

"Take all your phones out and put them on the table."

Chen Yang took out a chair, sat down naturally, and tapped his fingers lightly on the table. Each tap seemed to be pounding on the hearts of Cao Li's parents.

"Help! Murder!"

Grandma Cao suddenly let out a heart-wrenching roar.

Chen Yang looked at her indifferently, while Grandma Cao Li's eyes were cold, but she didn't stop shouting, and her voice grew louder and louder.

Her voice seemed to pierce through the clouds like an arrow; just a dozen seconds after she shouted, a group of people rushed in through the door, each with a burly figure.

"Who bullied Grandma Cao? Who's so bold as to do this? Let me see." The leader, a burly middle-aged man, was actually holding a kitchen knife.

"We're very well prepared," Chen Yang said with a smile.

"The Cao family is not to be trifled with," Grandma Cao Li said fiercely, pulling a kitchen knife from her clothes.

Chen Yang stood up from his chair, completely unfazed, and said calmly, "I rarely get angry, and I've never hit an old person before. Today, I probably did both."

"You brat, you're about to die and you're still so arrogant. You won't be walking out the door standing up today." The middle-aged man grinned menacingly.

Chen Yang ignored him and said to the three members of the Cao family, "I know you know what Cao Li said in the family group, so you must know whether it's true or false. And the fact that you were prepared means that Cao Li hasn't gone far, he's just hiding. It's not too late for you to teach him out now."

Grandma Cao spat and said, "I know you have a little money, but look carefully, this is my Cao family's territory."

“It seems there’s no need to maintain a relationship between distant relatives like you.” Chen Yang shook his head, then picked up the Cao family’s solid wood square table with one hand.

He lifted this rectangular dining table, which weighs at least 100 pounds, with just one hand.

Chen Yang turned around and smiled at the group of dumbfounded men, "Sorry, it's too late for you to run now, and I won't pay for your medical expenses."

As Chen Yang spoke, he picked up the dining table and threw it, somehow managing to get past everyone and land it right in front of the door, blocking it.

Just as everyone's attention was focused on the door, a scream suddenly rang out.

Immediately afterward, like mowing grass, the dozen or so burly men who entered were all lying on the ground in less than a minute, including the big man holding the kitchen knife.

Two people tried to run, but before they could move the table, Chen Yang's fist arrived.

Each person was knocked down with just one punch; not a single punch more.

The three members of the Cao family who witnessed all of this trembled all over, completely unable to believe what was happening before their eyes.

After knocking down the last person, Chen Yang silently walked up to Grandma Cao Li.

"You're the one who raised Cao Li to be so shameless. The three of you, are you coming with me yourselves, or am I going to do it?"

As Chen Yang was speaking, he suddenly picked up a chopstick from the ground, flicked it, and a burst of sparks flew in front of Cao Li's mother.

Upon closer inspection, a mobile phone had been pierced by chopsticks and had fallen to another location.

“I told you, don’t call the police,” Chen Yang said.

"Unless you kill everyone here, you can't hide it from the police! They'll come after you!!!" Grandma Cao suddenly shouted.

Chen Yang said sarcastically, "What, you think I'm afraid of the police? I'm just afraid of trouble. Someone will come here in an hour, and then, no matter who asks these idiots lying on the ground, the answer will be that I was never here."

Upon hearing this, Grandma Cao dropped the kitchen knife containing her phone to the ground with a clatter, completely distraught.

"I won't tell you where Li'er is, I won't," she murmured to herself.

"You'd better say it. Right now, I'll just give him a memorable warning. But if I find him later, things will be different."

Chen Yang sat down in the chair again, but this time his fingers didn't tap the table. Instead, he tapped silently on his lap. However, the heartbeats of the three members of the Cao family suddenly accelerated.
