At the Songshan Island pier, Yafei looked at the smiling man in front of her, and was astonished. "You really came? I thought you were joking with me."
From the moment Yafei received the call from Zheng Jianhua at the dock until now, she feels like she's dreaming.
Zheng Jianhua smiled at her and said meaningfully, "I never joke."
Afi was a little confused. "Why did you come all this way?"
"I came here for a learning exchange and also thought I'd drop by to see you," Zheng Jianhua said calmly as he walked forward with his luggage.
Afi rolled her eyes. "Are you kidding me? You're not in the navy, what are you learning here?"
"Oh, you saw right through me." Zheng Jianhua feigned surprise with a straight face, then looked at Yafei with a smile, "But it's absolutely true that I came to see you."
Looking into his earnest dark eyes, Yafei's heart skipped a beat. She hurriedly turned her head away and deliberately said in a rough voice, "If you can't say it, then you can't say it. Why are you joking with me like this?"
Zheng Jianhua smiled but didn't say anything. Whether he was serious or not, the girl would find out later.
Yafi was quite a celebrity on the island. Along the way, everyone she met greeted her, but their eyes were all fixed on the broad-shouldered, long-legged, and handsome man behind her.
Zheng Jianhua was not intimidated at all. Whenever someone looked at him, he would smile and nod at them, showing a very professional demeanor.
By the time Yafei escorted him back to the guesthouse, the news that she had brought her boyfriend home had already spread throughout the entire island.
"Alright, I've shown you the way, I'm leaving now." Yafei always felt nervous when she was with him, and now she couldn't wait to slip away.
Unexpectedly, Zheng Jianhua stopped her, "Now that I'm here, shouldn't I go and meet your parents?"

But Yafei was angry with him, so she pretended not to hear and didn't take it to heart.
When she returned to her unit, the well-informed communications company already knew about the rumors circulating on the island and teased her about it.
"Yafei, when did you start dating? Why didn't you tell everyone?"
"I heard your boyfriend is really handsome. When are you going to bring him over so we can meet him?"
"They've brought them all home, are they starting to talk about marriage?"
"That's great! Instructor Jiang, you have to treat us to wedding candy!"
It's always been Yafei who teases others, but now it's her turn to be teased.

"I'm just here to remind you," Zheng Jianhua said casually, crossing his legs. "Don't forget to come see me tomorrow. I don't know a single person on the island."
Hearing his pitiful expression, Yafei chuckled mischievously and said into the microphone, "Then you just wait!"
After saying that, she slammed down the phone and said, half-annoyed and half-fuming, "So annoying!"
"It seems you really like him. Congratulations!"
The sudden sound startled Yafei, who turned around and frowned, asking, "What are you doing here?"
The person who came was Yu Daguang. At this moment, his eyes were dejected, but he still forced a smile on his face.
Ever since seeing through his cowardly nature, Yafei had extinguished the budding romance in her heart, and now she simply asked him in a businesslike manner, "Is there something you need?"
