Chapter 181 Youth 3

After observing for a few days, Jiang Defu also noticed that his daughter seemed a bit lazy, didn't like going out to play, and didn't really like making friends with her peers.

She enjoys watering the flowers every day and occasionally has coffee with Anjie, though she drinks plain water instead.

Jiang Defu felt that she was a bit too mature for her age, so he gave orders to his two mischievous sons.

Tell them to do whatever it takes to get Lin Wangshu out of the house, even if it's just to get her into a small fight.

This really worried the two brothers, as they had no idea what little girls liked to play with.

But I figured I definitely wouldn't play with them, because every time we ran around outside and came back to the classroom, the girls in the class would frown in disgust when they saw how covered in dust.

During break, after observing carefully, Jiang Junqing leaned close to Lin Wangshu during class and whispered, "Little sister, do you like cat's cradle and jump rope?"

He just looked at them, and these are the games that the female students like the most after class.

Jiang Junqing had mentally prepared himself for a long time, and he was willing to put aside his pride as long as his sister agreed.

Lin Wangshu glanced at the teacher lecturing on the podium, then shook her head without saying a word.

She really didn't like it; she thought it was weird and meaningless.

Seeing her shake her head, Jiang Junqing breathed a sigh of relief and a relaxed smile appeared on his face. Just as he was about to ask her again if she liked fighting, he was interrupted by a piece of chalk flying towards him.

Then came the teacher's reprimand from the stage: "Jiang Junqing, if you don't study, don't affect the students who love to study."

Jiang Junqing covered his forehead, gave Lin Wangshu a pitiful look, and shut his mouth without saying a word.

Seeing his unlucky look, Lin Wangshu secretly smiled and, under the cover of the desk, secretly squeezed his palm to comfort him.

Jiang Junqing, who had just looked like a wilted blade of grass, suddenly felt his mood brighten as if he had been bathed in a ray of sunshine.

Jiang Junqing smiled happily as he looked at Lin Wangshu's profile as she listened attentively to the lesson, his eyes sparkling as he stared at the blackboard.

When school was over, Jiang Junqing didn't distinguish between pens and textbooks; he just crumpled everything on the table into a ball and stuffed it into his schoolbag.

Lin Wangshu's movements were unhurried, forcing Jiang Junqing, who had finished getting ready in a second, to wait patiently for her.

Just then, Zhao Jianguo came over and called to him, "Junqing, come quick, there's a wrestling competition on the beach, your brother has already gone over!"

Jiang Junqing's eyes lit up, and he immediately stood up. But when he looked down, he saw Lin Wangshu staring at him with her eyes wide open.

Jiang Junqing hesitated. After thinking for a while, urged by Zhao Jianguo, he gritted his teeth and refused, saying, "Forget it, I'm not going. I need to take my sister home."

Hearing this, Zhao Jianguo's face was full of surprise. "Are you still Jiang Junqing? You don't even go to watch wrestling."

Lin Wangshu raised an eyebrow in surprise, but felt a warm glow in her heart.

Seeing that he didn't speak, Zhao Jianguo stamped his foot and said, "Fine, if you don't want to go, fine. I'm going first. They've already started."

Zhao Jianguo left, and Jiang Junqing stood on tiptoe, craning his neck to watch his retreating figure, clearly his soul had flown away with him.

Lin Wangshu found it amusing. "You go with him. I'll just go home by myself."

"No way." Jiang Junqing's attitude was firm; he couldn't let his sister be left alone.

Suddenly, he looked at Lin Wangshu with anticipation and asked, "Little sister, shall we go together?"

Lin Wangshu only had time to utter an "Ah" before Jiang Junqing dragged her along as they ran wildly towards the beach.

When we arrived, we saw many people sitting on the beach in a circle, with two people in the middle facing each other like bulls in a fight.

Jiang Junqing pulled Lin Wangshu to squeeze next to Jiang Guoqing, and then they sat down on the ground.

Lin Wangshu stood there, head down, brows furrowed in worry.

Jiang Junqing suddenly realized what was going on and nudged Jiang Guoqing, "Brother, take off your coat."

Jiang Guoqing was engrossed in reading when he heard this, and he casually took off his coat and handed it to him.

Jiang Junqing spread his coat on the ground, patted it on Lin Wangshu's face, and said with a smile, "Little sister, sit here."

Lin Wangshu smiled silently, her eyebrows curving upwards, and sat down cross-legged.

The sun was too bright and dazzling. Lin Wangshu was afraid of getting a tan, so she turned to Jiang Junqing and said, "It's too sunny. I'm afraid of getting a tan."

Looking at her skin, which glowed white in the sunlight, Jiang Junqing wholeheartedly agreed and handed her his clothes, saying, "Here you go, I'm not afraid of the dark!"

Lin Wangshu, wrapped up tightly, watched the entire clumsy wrestling match in the noisy environment.

Seeing that Lin Wangshu didn't mind playing with them, the two brothers started inviting her along no matter what they were doing.

Lin Wangshu accepted all comers' invitations. While they fought, he would sit to the side with his things, reading a book and waiting.

From then on, a strange sight appeared on the island: behind a group of dirty, dark-skinned boys, there was always a clean, fair-skinned little girl.

The adults found it fascinating, and whenever they saw it, they would always joke with Jiang Junqing, who was always clinging to Lin Wangshu, "Little Junqing, you're playing with your little wife again."

"Wow, that's amazing! Even better than your dad. You're so young and you already know how to dote on your wife."

Whenever this happened, Lin Wangshu would pretend not to hear and keep walking forward without blinking.

She understands these people's psychology: the bigger your reaction, the more excited they become, and they will only escalate their teasing in the future.

But if you ignore them, they'll get bored after saying it once or twice.
