Because it's inevitable for the two of them to have disagreements, An Jie originally didn't want to get involved. However, she couldn't stand it anymore because Jiang Weidong didn't even realize that he had upset her.
So she pulled Jiang Weidong aside and asked, "Did you make Wang Shu angry? How old are you? Why are you bullying your younger sister?"
Jiang Weidong felt wronged and confused. "I didn't do anything!"
And he didn't notice that Little Moon was angry. Wasn't she the same as usual?
Anjie snorted and said angrily, "I don't care about that, you're going to apologize to them!"
"Oh, I'll go right away." Although Jiang Weidong was still completely baffled, he obediently agreed first.
Seeing Yafia Ning doing her homework inside, Jiang Weidong ignored their protests and rushed to the living room with her.
Lin Wangshu simply flipped through the book in her hand from beginning to end, without even lifting her eyelids.
Jiang Weidong, who had been ignored, sensed the low pressure in the air and finally realized that Lin Wangshu seemed to be really angry.
"Little Moon, what's wrong?" He sat down next to Lin Wangshu and asked cautiously.
Lin Wangshu still didn't look at him, but focused intently on the words on the book, and replied in a calm voice, "I'm fine, I'm perfectly fine."
People who are fine wouldn't say they're fine, especially when her attitude is so cold.
Jiang Weidong was so anxious after being ignored by Lin Wangshu for the first time that he scratched his head and kept thinking about what he had done wrong.
Lin Wangshu caught a glimpse of his anxious expression out of the corner of her eye, and her heart softened. She finally put down her book, turned to look at him, and asked, "What did you do after school today?"
"I didn't do anything. Didn't we walk together?" Jiang Weidong was initially delighted to see that she was finally willing to communicate, but then his face was full of doubt.
Seeing that he was still pretending to be stupid, Lin Wangshu was so angry that tears were about to come out. Could it be that the person who secretly delivered things to Zhang Junying after school was a fake?
Although she had a thousand questions she wanted to ask, Lin Wangshu finally sniffed, turned her back to him, and said in a muffled voice, "Fine, don't tell me then, just leave!"
She was clearly still angry, so Jiang Weidong naturally refused to leave. Seeing that Lin Wangshu was ignoring him, he could only reluctantly leave, looking back every few steps.
An Jie, who had thought the two would reconcile quickly, found the next morning that things had escalated. While Jiang Weidong was in the restroom, Lin Wangshu left on her own.
Even Jiang Defu was amused by this and laughed, "What's wrong with these two? They used to be inseparable, but now they're having a fight?"
"You're even gloating!" Anjie glared at him. "What, you're happy that the two kids are arguing?"
"Oh dear, relationships are built on arguments. They'll make up in a few days, and maybe their relationship will even be better than before. Let's not worry about it."
Jiang Defu didn't take it seriously.
Anjie was still worried, so she pulled Yafei aside and whispered a few words to her. Only after Yafei nodded did she let her go out.
Yafei jogged to catch up with Lin Wangshu, and seeing her unpleasant expression, she cautiously asked, "Big sister, did you and second brother have a fight?"
"No," Lin Wangshu denied at first.
"Then why didn't you wait for him and left first?" Yafei asked, disbelieving.
A hint of disappointment flashed in Lin Wangshu's eyes after hearing this, and her tone was tinged with bitterness, "Someone will go with him, I'll just be in the way."
"Huh?" Yafei scratched her head in confusion. "Who is it? Weimin?"
"No." Lin Wangshu pursed her lips, but still said, "It's Zhang Junying."
"Oh my god, my second brother is in love!" Yafei exclaimed in surprise, covering her mouth.
Although she had already guessed it, Lin Wangshu still couldn't help but feel a tightness in her chest when Yafei directly pointed it out, and she quickened her pace in annoyance.
Yafei thought she was angry that she would have no one to accompany her in the future, so she patted her chest generously and said, "It's okay, big sister. From now on, you can stay with me and Ya Ning. We'll keep you company."
When Lin Wangshu finally sat down in her seat in the classroom, Jiang Weidong arrived late, looking angry, and started to walk towards her.
However, Zhang Junying stopped him at the door. After exchanging a few words, Jiang Weidong impatiently threw something at her, and Zhang Junying then left with a smile.
Lin Wangshu was so disturbed by what she saw that she simply turned her head away, out of sight, out of mind.
"Little Moon, why did you leave without waiting for me?!" Jiang Weidong was angry, and his tone was not as nice as usual.
When Lin Wangshu heard him being so rude, she got angry too, and said in a sarcastic tone, "Do you still need me to wait? Don't you have someone to keep you company?"
"Who is it? I have no one else with me, I came alone!" Hearing her cold words, Jiang Weidong felt wronged and aggrieved.
"You know perfectly well what you've done!" Lin Wangshu snorted coldly, annoyed by what she had just witnessed.
Seeing that she wouldn't speak properly, Jiang Weidong felt his anger rising. Not wanting to lash out at Lin Wangshu, he took a few deep breaths and remained silent.
The two of them started a cold war without any explanation. They didn't say a word to each other, and even when they occasionally glanced at each other, Lin Wangshu would quickly look away.
The tense atmosphere between them was quickly noticed by the boys in the class.
They are sixteen or seventeen years old now, the age when they are attracted to beauty and admire young women. Lin Wangshu is the most beautiful girl in the class, so many people secretly like her.
She and Jiang Weidong were always inseparable; if either of them spoke an extra word to her, they would be met with a cold look from Jiang Weidong.
