Seeing that she wasn't moving, Lin Wangshu grew impatient and stopped what she was doing, asking, "Why aren't you getting ready yet?"
Fearing that she would suspect something, Zhou Mei didn't dare to stand there any longer. Moreover, seeing that Lin Wangshu's lips were so dry they were peeling, she wasn't worried that Lin Wangshu wouldn't drink, so she turned around and went back to her bedroom.
Lin Wangshu was indeed extremely thirsty. He picked up the bowl, intending to drink, but then noticed a layer of oil floating on the surface of the water. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was the same bowl the Zhou family used for eating, and he felt nauseous.
Disgusted, Lin Wangshu placed the bowl on the table, but the image of the oily residue kept replaying in her mind. Her obsessive-compulsive disorder kicked in, and she picked up the bowl and poured out the water, only then feeling relieved.
Inside the bedroom, Zhou Lin was extremely excited when his sister told him that Lin Wangshu had come.
"Get out of here. If she drinks the water, leave immediately. If she doesn't, then come back in!"
Zhou Mei nodded, opened the door and went out, only to find Lin Wangshu still sitting at the table, the water in her bowl gone.
"Sister Wangshu, please sit down. I'll go get the baby."
He left before Lin Wangshu could react.
Song Jing stood downstairs and waited for a while, but they didn't come down. She secretly thought something was wrong.

Song Jing immediately understood what was happening. She grabbed Zhou Mei, who was trying to run away, and whispered, "Open the door!"
Zhou Mei didn't expect her to come, but now that things were fading, she couldn't let Song Jing ruin it.
"Impossible. Go ahead and shout. You'd better bring everyone here so that they can all be witnesses."
Song Jing didn't dare to shout, and seeing Zhou Mei's nonchalant attitude, she was so anxious that tears were about to come out.
Finally catching a glimpse of the kitchen knife on the cutting board in the hallway, Song Jing gritted her teeth, picked it up, and placed it against Zhou Mei's neck, her face hardening as she threatened her fiercely.
"Don't make a sound, open the door!"
