"Ah!" Lin Wangshu covered her cheek, startled, and stood up abruptly. She turned around to look at him, her wet long hair arcing through the air before slapping Jiang Weidong across the face.
"How could you kiss me?!"
Jiang Weidong was also momentarily infatuated. He was dizzy from the sun and acted on his impulse, kissing her without thinking.
Seeing Lin Wangshu's flushed cheeks and wide eyes staring at him, he touched his cheek, which had been splashed with water, but felt quite pleased.
"What's wrong? Didn't I kiss you when we were little?"
Although Jiang Weidong's heart was pounding like a drum, he pretended to be innocent and replied casually.
His calm demeanor made Lin Wangshu feel as if she was making a mountain out of a molehill, so she pursed her lips and hesitated.
But she quickly came to her senses, her eyebrows furrowed, and she glared at him, saying, "How can that be the same? I'm so grown up now, you can't kiss me anymore!"
"Sigh." Jiang Weidong sighed, his face hurt, and shook his head, saying, "My sister has grown up and dislikes me now."
What does this have to do with whether you dislike him or not? Seeing his sad look, as if she were the bad guy, Lin Wangshu stomped her foot in anger.
"What's wrong with you today? Why do you keep thinking about kissing me?"
"It's nothing." Jiang Weidong put his hands in his pockets, his eyes fixed on her, his gaze intense. "I just suddenly realized something."
Lin Wangshu's heart skipped a beat when he looked at her. She awkwardly touched the wet hair on the side of her face, lowered her eyes, and asked, "What have you figured out?"
Jiang Weidong stepped closer, lowered his head slightly to look at her rosy face, and instead of answering, asked, "Do you know what I saw today?"
Feeling his increasingly intense gaze, Lin Wangshu couldn't help but want to back away, stammering, "What...what did you see?"
But Jiang Weidong suddenly gripped her arm tightly with his large hands, not allowing her to back down, and said in a hoarse voice, "I saw Zhao Jianguo kiss his girlfriend!"
"Huh?!" Lin Wangshu was taken aback. Her curiosity was piqued, and she looked up abruptly, only to be met with the burning expectation in Jiang Weidong's eyes, which instantly scared away her gossipy nature.
"Is that so?" She chuckled dryly, moving her arm as if trying to break free from his burning hand.
Lin Wangshu felt that he seemed to have come to his senses, and the way he looked at her was no longer as innocent as before, but mixed with affection that made her afraid to look closely.
Noticing her struggle, Jiang Weidong loosened his grip, but still couldn't bear to let go of her. He then said in one breath, "I think, I think I understand the difference between a sister and a girlfriend."
Just as I expected!
Lin Wangshu's heart pounded even faster. She felt as if they were standing on the edge of a cliff, one foot already in the air, teetering on the verge of falling.
She was terrified. The instant Jiang Weidong opened his mouth, she used all her strength to break free from his grip on her arm, took several steps back, and stammered in a panic, "Stop talking, I... I suddenly remembered I have something to do, I have to go find Yafei!"
After saying that, she turned around, took a few quick steps, and then started jogging towards the door.
All she wanted to do now was stay far away from Jiang Weidong, lest he say something shocking and turn the family upside down.
But fate had other plans. Just as her hand touched the door and it was cracked open, a pair of large hands slammed down on it.
With a bang, the door slammed shut again. Lin Wangshu's eyes widened in surprise. Then, a warm body pressed against her, and Jiang Weidong's deep, slightly trembling voice came from behind her.
"Little Moon, from now on, don't treat me like your older brother."
