The next morning.
He Tiantian woke up from the noise and sat up to look around.
Some were dancing on the bed, some were rolling around on the floor, and the nurses were feeding them medicine one by one.
Jie Jie, however, was very quiet. She was eating breakfast while holding her baby.
"013, hurry up and eat breakfast, then you need to take your medicine." The nurse pushed a bowl of plain noodles over.
He Tiantian didn't respond. No, she hadn't even brushed her teeth before eating!
"Eat up, what are you staring at? Isn't this your favorite food?"
He Tiantian had no choice but to pick up her chopsticks and eat the noodles. The taste was very ordinary, with only a little salt added and nothing else.
But she couldn't refuse to eat, so He Tiantian had no choice but to bite the bullet and eat it.
A loud noise came from the corridor.
The head nurse rushed over; the window had been opened by someone, and the wind outside was making the curtains flutter wildly.
"Really, didn't I tell the fish that this window can't be opened?" The head nurse muttered to herself as she went to close the window.
I had just pulled the handle when I saw a patient fall to his death downstairs.
The head nurse shouted, and the surrounding patients all crowded around. They all looked down, and one by one they were so frightened that they started talking nonsense.
She had no choice but to quickly draw the curtains and then go to notify the attending physician of the deceased patient.
Without a second thought, the doctor went to see the hospital director.
The hospital director, upon learning of this, did not show any particular emotion. He simply found two male nurses to carry the patient's body to the morgue.
He Tiantian secretly slipped down to the garden and watched the two male nurses' actions, only then realizing that there was a morgue there.
The two male nurses complained with some disdain.
"This is so annoying, how many times has this happened this month?"
"That's right, the dean doesn't care at all. He'll only start taking care of things after everyone in the hospital dies."
"Haha, how can you have such a sharp tongue?"
"Who can argue with that? The hospital director only cares about making money the moment he opens his eyes. Let's see how he explains himself to the family."
"What are you thinking? Why would he take the initiative to explain to the family? Basically, nobody cares about people who come here."
"That's true. Oh dear, let's move in quickly, I haven't finished my game yet."
The chat stopped abruptly there.
He Tiantian sat on the ground, leaning against the wall, lost in thought. Had several people already died this month?
Two male nurses suddenly came out and saw He Tiantian squatting on the ground. They remembered her.
He Tiantian was startled and could only pretend to be stupid as she looked at the two of them. Her slightly open mouth let saliva flow out.
"Hey, 013, what are you doing here all by yourself? Did you take your medicine?" One of the male nurses, with sharp eyes, immediately recognized her.
"Huh?" He Tiantian pretended to be stupid as always, tilting her head and looking at them.
Another male nurse helped her up, saying, "Take her back quickly, or something else might happen."
He Tiantian was taken back to her room by the male nurse, and room 203 was in complete chaos.
The nurse with the horn-shaped hairpin looked at He Tiantian being brought back and asked, "013, when did you run away?!"
The male nurse scolded her, "You can't even keep an eye on people in their rooms? I'll have the hospital director dock your pay."
"Go away, stop causing trouble here! 013, come and take your medicine."
After the nurse fed her the medicine, she checked the list again before leaving room 203 and heading to room 204.
As usual, He Tiantian vomited up the medicine she had swallowed.
After much thought, she decided she still needed to go find Shen Yizhou and the others, but she didn't know their room number.
I can only wander around in the corridor; maybe I'll run into them.
Shen Yizhou also planned to go find He Tiantian, with A Qing and A Yu following behind him.
The four of them bumped into each other in the corridor in such a spectacular way. He Tiantian was in a great mood. Wasn't this a perfect coincidence?
She led the three of them to the morgue, saying, "I'm telling you, I secretly followed those two male nurses here."
Aqing gave her a thumbs up, "You're doing great, Tiantian, your mind is getting sharper and sharper."
"Get lost, shall we go inside and take a look?" He Tiantian pointed inside.
Shen Yizhou nodded and took He Tiantian's hand, walking ahead of him.
As soon as they stepped inside, all the motion-sensor lights came on, and the scene before them took the four of them by surprise.
The iron beds were filled with corpses, both men and women; there were more than 40 iron beds in total, almost completely filled with bodies.
He Tiantian felt uneasy; there was still blood on the corpses, clearly indicating that no one had cleaned them up.
Ayu ran to the tree and vomited. He really couldn't stand the sight.
The corpses were all in very strange positions.
Ah Qing mustered up her courage and went forward to take a look. She saw a blurry face with several maggots wriggling inside.
He covered his mouth and ran out, vomiting next to Ayu. He threw up all the noodles he had eaten that morning.
He Tiantian couldn't take it anymore and pulled Shen Yizhou out. She had just vomited and couldn't vomit anything now.
All I could do was dry heave.
Shen Yizhou remained calm, his brows furrowed as if he were deep in thought.
Are these bodies just left here like this? There's not even a guard; it shows how little care they take...
He Tiantian paused for a moment, "I heard from those two male nurses that the hospital director doesn't care about these corpses at all."
"Yes, I can tell. Otherwise, there would have been guards, and we wouldn't have been able to sneak in so easily."
Just as Shen Yizhou finished speaking, a security guard came over whistling and saw the four people under the tree.
"What are you all doing here? Why isn't there a nurse with you?"
