The manager came out with a group of bodyguards in black and quickly separated the two groups. The bodyguards held onto Lao Gao and his group, while Xiao Yu was helped up and sat in a chair.
A bodyguard knelt before Xiaoyu, "Young Master, we are sorry we were late and caused you to get injured."
Xiaoyu waved his hand, signaling them to leave.
His hand trembled as he turned the ring on his ring finger.
He Tiantian's eyes widened; this was the same ring she had found.
"Young Master, what should we do with these people?" another bodyguard asked Xiaoyu as he approached.
"Let them go." Xiaoyu waved his hand.
The bodyguards released their grip in unison. Old Gao looked at Xiao Yu in horror, never expecting that he had really messed with someone today.
"Kneel down three times and say sorry, and we'll call it even."
Xiao Yu picked up a cigarette with trembling hands, and the bodyguard immediately stepped forward to light it for him.
Lao Gao and his companions immediately kowtowed three times to Xiao Yu and said sorry three times.
Xiao Yu waved them off.
Shen Yizhou looked at Xiaoyu. His way of solving the problem was quite unexpected. Would such a person kill a woman?
Xiao Yu ordered another basket of wine from the waiter and dismissed the bodyguards. The waiters then came out and began cleaning up the broken glass on the floor.
Before long, the bar returned to its original state, and Xiaoyu and his friends started drinking again.
After thinking it over, Shen Yizhou took He Tiantian's hand and walked to Xiaoyu's table.
Xiao Yu looked up at Shen Yizhou, who looked at him with some suspicion, "Here to cause trouble again?"
"Brother, you've got it wrong. My girlfriend said she's bored, and I was wondering if you guys could take us along for some fun?" Shen Yizhou said, handing out a few cigarettes to the group.
"Oh, if you want to hang out, that's fine, as long as you don't cause us any trouble." Xiao Yu waved his hand and told the waiter to add two more chairs and bring out several dozen beers.
"Thank you so much. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jiang Yi, and this is my girlfriend, Li Tian." Shen Yizhou sat down and opened a bottle of wine.
He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou, surprised that he was so clever as to not use his real name.
"Hey, hello there!" He Tiantian greeted them with a smile.
"Hello, hello, my name is Qin Zeyu." Xiaoyu introduced his brothers one by one, but He Tiantian didn't bother to remember them at all, she only remembered Qin Zeyu.
Shen Yizhou blended in very well with them, and quickly finished several baskets of beer. Qin Zeyu thoughtfully ordered her a few drinks. After all, she was just a kid, and her alcohol tolerance was really too low. Apart from Qin Zeyu, the others passed out after only a few bottles.
She began to suspect that Qin Zeyu wasn't the murderer at all, because he was being far too enthusiastic…
A drunken Qin Zeyu grabbed Shen Yizhou's hand and said, "Brother, be good to your girlfriend! Women are meant to be pampered."
"Don't worry, I understand, brother." Shen Yizhou removed Qin Zeyu's hand again.
Qin Zeyu grabbed him again, saying, "Brother, I really envy you guys. You have such a good relationship."
Shen Yizhou felt somewhat helpless; his germaphobia prevented Qin Zeyu from holding his hand like that.
He Tiantian almost laughed. It was the first time she had seen Shen Yizhou so embarrassed, with everyone lying in crooked positions.
"Xiaoyu, I remember there was a really pretty girl next to you?" Shen Yizhou seized the opportunity to ask.
"A very pretty girl?" Qin Zeyu was lost in a brief recollection.
"Oh, you mean Tian Leyu? We were playing together just the day before yesterday, and then she passed away yesterday. I was about to win her over, waaaaaah!" Qin Zeyu burst into tears as he spoke.
He seemed genuinely heartbroken. Shen Yizhou patted him on the back to comfort him, "Brother, take it easy. You'll meet someone you like even more."
Qin Zeyu slid off his seat, crying his eyes out, repeatedly saying that he liked her just the way she was. Soon after, he lay down on the floor and fell asleep.
Shen Yizhou and He Tiantian looked at the five people with a headache; they really were a bunch of kids.
Seeing this, the bodyguards came up and said, "Gentlemen, thank you for taking care of the young master. Leave the rest to us."
"Okay, make sure they get back to their rooms safely." Shen Yizhou gave the bodyguards another instruction.
Shen Yizhou led He Tiantian out of the bar. He took out his phone to check the time. "It's already past 2 a.m. On the way back to the room, hold me and don't lift your head."
He Tiantian didn't ask any more questions. She instantly remembered the rules on the card, and immediately snuggled into Shen Yizhou's arms, burying her head in his chest.
Shen Yizhou walked very fast. Along the way, people kept asking them if they needed their rooms cleaned, but Shen Yizhou ignored them and went straight to the elevator.
After entering the elevator, Shen Yizhou moved He Tiantian to the other side and pressed her head against his chest.
He Tiantian then noticed that there was another pair of feet on the ground, and that there was a person standing where she had just been standing.
"Hello, do you need your room cleaned?" the person asked again.
Shen Yizhou ignored her with a cold face, and He Tiantian's body trembled uncontrollably. Shen Yizhou then tightened his grip on He Tiantian's hand.
The elevator finally stopped on the 12th floor. He pulled He Tiantian and quickly got out of the elevator. As he walked, he took out the room card from his pocket and opened the door.
He Tiantian's heart finally settled down the moment she stepped into the room, after seven or eight people had asked them the same question along the way.
He Tiantian sat down on the bed, gently patting her chest; her heart was beating very fast.
Knock, knock, knock, the knocking sound rang out again.
"Hello, would you like your room cleaned?"
That phrase again! He Tiantian was on the verge of collapse. Her defenses crumbled, and tears were already welling up in her eyes.
Seeing this, Shen Yizhou stepped forward and hugged He Tiantian, stroking her back repeatedly. "It's alright, just pretend you didn't hear anything."
