Aqing and Ayu still refused to believe it and decided to look for clues again, so the two went to the poolside once more.
Just as they were about to leave, they discovered that the second group of people were still there, all holding flashlights and looking for clues. They even saw Xie Yun and Liu Nian.
"Brother Yun, it's so dark we can't see anything, we can't find anything, so let's go back first."
"Now is the perfect time. Are you going to wait until everyone else has finished looking for you before you come back?"
"But it's so creepy here, we're all scared. Besides, we've been searching for two hours and haven't found anything."
Hearing their words, Xie Yun instantly became angry and was about to curse when Liu Nian covered his mouth, "Don't be angry, let's come back tomorrow, let's forget about tonight."
Xie Yun shook his head helplessly, said nothing, and led the way away.
After confirming that they had left, Aqing and Ayu came out of the lawn, and Aqing prepared to go into the water to look for them.
He was an excellent swimmer. Holding his breath, he quietly dived into the pool and began to search the bottom of the pool with a flashlight. He actually found it.
It is a small gray stone.
He surfaced and climbed out, then pulled Ayu back to their room. Any clues were good; they absolutely couldn't be greedy!
Meanwhile, He Tiantian was already asleep, and Shen Yizhou was still smoking by the window, trying to find Lina's body.
He shook his head, deciding to think about it again tomorrow. He lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling, struggling to fall asleep.
In the middle of the night, He Tiantian slowly sat up. Shen Yizhou was awakened by her movement. He looked at He Tiantian and saw that her eyes were closed.
She paused for a moment, got out of bed, walked straight to the door, opened the door and went out. Shen Yizhou realized something was wrong, so he quietly followed her. He saw He Tiantian pick up a candlestick from the table.
Then, as he walked towards the stairwell, Shen Yizhou found it strange that He Tiantian hadn't opened her eyes the entire time. Was she sleepwalking?
He Tiantian walked up to the second floor step by step, then stopped in front of a room. She reached out, opened the door, and went inside, followed by Shen Yizhou.
The bedroom was very large. He Tiantian stood motionless in front of the window. Shen Yizhou looked down from the window and saw that the room was directly facing the swimming pool.
He Tiantian suddenly went limp, and Shen Yizhou caught her, steadily taking the candle from her hand.
He carried He Tiantian on his back, then took a candle and wandered around the room. There was a portrait hanging above the bed. He picked up the candle to light it, and the person in the portrait was Jin Yun. He then glanced at the desk, where there was a broken gray ornament.
Shen Yizhou didn't stay long and carried He Tiantian back to her room.
Jin Che stood on the balcony, looking at the dark night sky. His eyes were filled with tears, and he clenched his fists tightly. He was determined to find the murderer who killed Lina.
The next morning, He Tiantian woke up feeling confused. She had dreamt that she had walked into a strange room.
Shen Yizhou looked at her troubled little face, which was almost scrunched up, and asked, "You know you went out last night?"
"I went out last night? What did I do?" He Tiantian looked at Shen Yizhou in surprise.
“You went to Jin Yun’s room, and I brought you back.”
"How did you know I dreamt I went to his room? It's strange, I just felt like something led me there."
He Tiantian rubbed her head, feeling like she was having a mental breakdown, having this kind of dream for two days in a row.
"You really went last night. Jin Yun's room faces the swimming pool directly below."
He Tiantian found Shen Yizhou's words impossible. She didn't have a habit of sleepwalking. Could it be that he said it in his dream?
Shen Yizhou realized that He Tiantian was completely unaware of the situation. "What did you dream about doing in that room?"
"I didn't do anything, I just kept looking at the pool, and then the scene changed."
"Jump? Where did it jump to?"
"It means it jumped to another dream."
Shen Yizhou didn't continue the topic. He took He Tiantian downstairs to eat. Surprisingly, the maid didn't come to call today.
Upon entering the restaurant, there were hardly any people eating, likely due to the significant impact of yesterday's events.
Jin Che suddenly walked in and went straight to He Tiantian and Shen Yizhou, who had just sat down.
"Xiaozhou, Tiantian, do you want to go out for a meal with me?"
Shen Yizhou thought for a while and then agreed. Jin Che's sudden visit to them meant he must have something to say.
Jin Che drove to the gate, and Shen Yizhou thought for a moment and opened the back seat for He Tiantian to get in, while he sat in the front seat.
"Brother Jin, why did you suddenly decide to invite us out for dinner?" He Tiantian asked curiously, looking out the window.
"I feel a bit depressed at home and wanted to talk to you guys."
Jin Che answered He Tiantian's questions while driving, and Shen Yizhou listened in as well.
"Nobody wanted this to happen. Brother Jin, have you made any progress?"
Shen Yizhou cautiously probed Jin Che, gambling on whether Jin Che would tell him.
"Not for now, and the brothers in the family are becoming increasingly divided."
Jin Che turned the steering wheel and drove onto a small road.
"Although there are some awkwardness in the brothers' relationship, the family bond is still there."
"Haha, Xiao Zhou really knows how to talk."
After speaking, a long silence ensued. Jin Che drove up to a restaurant that appeared to serve stir-fries.
Shen Yizhou got out of the car and opened the back door. He Tiantian took his hand and got out of the car. The two followed Jin Che inside.
It was deserted outside, but very lively inside. He Tiantian was a little shocked that there were so many people inside, and there was even a second floor!
