Shen Yizhou glanced at his watch; it was almost six o'clock. "Let's go eat. We'll start our operation after we finish."
He Tiantian clapped her hands and followed Shen Yizhou away. A Qing bumped into A Yu and walked in front of him. A Yu got even angrier and rushed up to bump into him back. The two of them bumped into each other all the way.
The four entered the restaurant, where quite a few people were already seated. The seven brothers were also sitting at the main table, with someone talking to them.
Ayu hooked her arm around Aqing's shoulder. "Don't you find it strange? They're actually having dinner here tonight?"
"It is indeed a bit strange. This is the first time they have all gathered together since the lord of the fortress left."
He Tiantian stared in shock as the two whispered to each other. Weren't they still arguing? They've made up so quickly.
Shen Yizhou glanced at it and then stopped looking, casually finding a place to sit down.
"Zhouzhou, do you think they have something to say? And why did Brother Jin come back so quickly?"
"I don't know, I feel fine."
Shen Yizhou turned to look at Jin Che; he had indeed returned too quickly.
He Tiantian didn't dwell on the issue any further. The maid quickly brought out the dishes, and A Qing and A Yu were much more refined in their dining this time.
As Shen Yizhou had predicted, they left after finishing their meal, and no one lingered.
Shen Yizhou glanced at his watch; it was exactly 7:30 PM. They could leave once they finished their last bite.
Wang Nana dragged Jiang Feng to them again. Jiang Feng was very unwilling. They had only been quiet for a few days, and now they were being snubbed again.
"Brother Zhou, have you found any clues?"
Wang Nana dragged a chair over and sat down next to Shen Yizhou.
Shen Yizhou moved his chair closer to He Tiantian. He had no intention of answering her at all, but He Tiantian felt too awkward and replied with a simple "no".
"Looks like you've found a clue?" Aqing raised an eyebrow at Wang Nana.
"We don't have any either, we just want to team up with you guys, we're both completely clueless."
Wang Nana blushed and lowered her head. She felt that as long as she could follow Shen Yizhou, that would be enough. He was so smart that he would definitely get first place.
"I'm sorry, our team is already full. Adding two more people would put too much pressure on us."
Ayu didn't even glance at her, and said those words to thin air.
Jiang Feng's lips twitched. Couldn't they just ignore Wang Nana? He really wanted to change his team.
"Let's go back now that we're full. It's too hot and humid here, I can't stand it anymore."
He Tiantian broke the awkward silence by standing up and leaving without looking back. The other three followed her, and they walked very quickly.
"Wang Nana, can't you use your brain? People clearly don't want to talk to you."
"Mind your own business! I like it this way!"
After saying that, Wang Nana left Jiang Feng behind. Of course, she knew that Shen Yizhou didn't want to talk to her, but she just didn't want to give up.
Shen Yizhou led the way to the archery range next to the castle. There was a large building there, which was the ice storage.
Aqing and Ayu walked ahead, cautiously peeking out to see if anyone was inside. Shen Yizhou ignored them and went straight in.
Lina lay quietly on the freezer, her face pale, her clothes changed, and she wore an exquisite necklace around her neck, looking as if she were asleep.
He Tiantian was actually very curious as to why it was placed in a freezer instead of being buried. No one had informed Mr. Jin about this either.
Shen Yizhou stepped forward to examine Lina. Her entire body had been cleaned, and there was no visible wound. He lifted Lina's skirt and, sure enough, found a knife wound on her lower abdomen, which had been stitched up.
He examined her entire body again and found only a wound on her lower abdomen; the killer had targeted her child.
"Could this necklace be the breakthrough point?"
Ayu examined the necklace closely; it was exquisitely crafted and adorned with diamonds, making it quite expensive.
"I feel that it was something she brought with her, or a gift from the child's father."
“I agree with He Tiantian’s point of view, but this is indeed the breakthrough. She only had this necklace on her body. And one thing is certain: the murderer was after the child.”
After listening to Shen Yizhou's analysis, the three of them each gained some insights. Now they needed to find the child's father, but that was going to be difficult for them.
“There are fragments of the decorations from Jin Yun’s room in the pool. A Qing and A Yu will keep an eye on Jin Yun tomorrow, as he hasn’t shown up for several days. Tian Tian and I will keep an eye on Jin Zifan.”
After thinking for a while, Aqing and Ayu nodded, feeling that Jin Yun was a difficult person to follow, as he only appeared a second time every few days.
The four of them didn't stay long. After leaving the ice storage, they went their separate ways. Shen Yizhou and He Tiantian went to the swimming pool again, and he pulled He Tiantian to squat down in the grass.
"Zhouzhou, what are we doing squatting here?"
"We'll just wait."
Shen Yizhou didn't explain to He Tiantian. He checked the time and it was about 8:30.
The two began a long wait. He Tiantian couldn't bear it any longer and sat down on the lawn. She went from squatting to sitting, and time passed little by little.
Just as He Tiantian was about to start cursing, Jin Yun appeared with his servants.
They were searching the lawn with flashlights, but couldn't find anything after a long time.
"Second Young Master, we've searched the whole place but haven't found it."
"A bunch of useless trash! If you can't find them, all of you should die!"
Jin Yun angrily kicked over a chair in the rest area, and still feeling unsatisfied, he overturned a table as well.
"Second Young Master, we really searched every corner."
"Do you even know that I brought that back from England! It's all that little bitch Lina's fault! Thank goodness she's dead, or I wouldn't be satisfied!"
