He Tiantian dreamed of Jin Lanyue again tonight; Jin Lanyue took He Tiantian on a tour of the entire castle.
Jin Lanyue excitedly pulled He Tiantian to sit on the swing, "Tiantian, what the witch said is actually true!"
He Tiantian paused, pushing her on the swing. "Lanyue, what do you mean by that?"
"Actually, I was bitten to death by a poisonous snake, but my father didn't want to believe it and told others that I drowned in the pool."
"Huh? Then your brothers didn't turn into monsters either!"
"Hahaha, they turn into monsters every day, but only at night, and they turn back during the day."
He Tiantian stared at Jin Lanyue in shock. What kind of magical story was this? Did witches really exist?
"Hehe, please don't tell my brothers, this is our little secret. Can you tell my eldest brother for me? I really miss them!"
Jin Lanyue looked at He Tiantian with pleading eyes. He Tiantian's heart softened completely, and she agreed to Jin Lanyue's request.
She woke up not long after, still in a daze, feeling like it was all unreal.
She walked out of the room; it wasn't fully light yet. She stopped at Jin Lanyue's photo and reached out to touch it.
Jin Zihang stood at the top of the stairs, looking at He Tiantian.
Do you like her a lot?
He Tiantian was startled by the sudden sound. She turned around and saw Jin Zihang. Why was this person always so elusive?
"She's so cute, isn't she? I miss her so much."
Jin Zihang didn't wait for He Tiantian's reply, but continued talking to himself.
“I dreamt about her. She told me she missed my older brother and you guys a lot.”
Jin Zihang looked at He Tiantian in surprise, "What did you say? You dreamed about her?"
"Yes, she took me to her favorite swing, and she asked me to tell you that she misses you."
Jin Zihang looked at He Tiantian in disbelief, tears welling up in his eyes and swirling around them.
"Would it be convenient for you to come and sit in the living room with me?"
After thinking for a while, He Tiantian agreed to Jin Zihang's request, and the two went up to the living room on the seventh floor and sat down.
Jin Zihang took out a handkerchief and wiped away the tears in his eyes. He looked at He Tiantian seriously and asked, "Did she say anything else to you?"
"No, that's all. I just wanted to tell you that she misses each and every one of you."
Jin Zihang chuckled. "She must have told you we'd turn into monsters, I know her too well."
This time it was He Tiantian's turn to be surprised, "How did you know?"
"With her personality, she'd love for everyone to know that her brothers are going to turn into monsters."
He Tiantian fell silent, unsure of what to say. She had promised Jin Lanyue she wouldn't tell, and if she didn't admit it, then she hadn't said it!
"You should have guessed the murderer by now, right? Xiao Zhou is so smart, you can't hide it from him."
Jin Zihang leaned back on the sofa, his hands behind his head, staring at the ceiling of the living room.
"So, you know everything?"
"Yes, the castle is full of my informants. I know what you're saying, but I hope you won't tell anyone. I don't know why you're looking for the murderer, but if you hurt my brother, I won't let you get away with it."
"May I ask Brother Jin why you did this? And how did you know?"
Jin Zihang scoffed. He didn't want to know about these things; they were suffocating him.
"The baby in Lina's belly is my dad's, isn't that ridiculous? My brothers are so naive, they think it's theirs, and even my eldest brother thinks so."
He Tiantian's pupils shrank sharply. What earth-shattering gossip had she found out?!
"My older brother couldn't accept this, so he gave her sleeping pills and stabbed her in the stomach while she was unconscious. My older brother must have been in a lot of pain too, but there was nothing he could do."
"I can probably understand Brother Jin. We can't talk about this anymore. Let's just keep it to ourselves."
"I hope you keep your word. Go back and rest. Thank you for telling me about Eighth Sister."
After Jin Zihang finished speaking, he got up and went back to his room. He had originally come up to look at Ba Mei's photos, but when he found He Tiantian standing in front of the photos, he realized that the trip was worthwhile.
He Tiantian also returned to her room. She sighed and lay down on the bed. Shen Yizhou was sleeping soundly next to her, and she didn't have the heart to wake him, but she felt like she had a stone stuck in her chest.
She couldn't help but shake Shen Yizhou awake. "Zhouzhou, wake up, I need to talk to you about something."
Shen Yizhou opened his eyes and looked at He Tiantian with a puzzled expression. "What's wrong?"
She told Shen Yizhou everything.
Shen Yizhou was stunned. He hadn't expected the child to be Master Jin's. How heartbroken Brother Jin must be.
Both of them fell silent. Shen Yizhou patted He Tiantian's back and said, "Sleep a little longer. It's still early."
He Tiantian glanced at the sky outside the window, lay down, and soon drifted off to sleep again.
Jin Zihang walked to Jin Che's door and stood outside for a long time.
Jin Che opened the door and looked at Jin Zihang, who was standing in the doorway in a daze. "Third brother, why are you standing in the doorway in a daze instead of coming in?"
The two stared at each other in silence for a long time before he pulled Jin Zihang into the room.
Jin Zihang sat on the sofa smoking a cigarette. "Big brother, Tian Tian said she dreamed about Lan Yue, and Lan Yue said she misses us a lot."
Jin Che stared blankly at Jin Zihang, looking at him with disbelief.
"What did you say? Tian Tian dreamed about Lan Yue?"
"Yes! Lanyue said she misses us a lot, and she even told Tiantian about how we might turn into monsters."
