"Oh, I forgot. I thought I had already taken a shower."
He Tiantian ran into her room and grabbed a new set of pajamas, which she needed to wash. She also grabbed some underwear to change into. She was taking a shower while thinking.
Her mind was racing and she wouldn't let herself stop. The papers were hidden under the bedroom floor, and her husband shouldn't have known about them.
In addition, the last time she heard her husband scolding her, he was referring to a man, so her husband was unaware of this woman's existence!
Last night she heard the sound of marbles rolling. Could it be from that time?
The more she thought about it, the more outrageous it seemed, and her mind went completely blank. She quickly rinsed off the bubbles, dried herself off, changed into new pajamas, and washed her underwear.

She walked to the front door, checked that it was locked, turned off the light, and went back into her room.

She lay down on the bed and moved closer, only to find him looking at news about 504, a police announcement.

"Let's not look anymore and go to sleep. We'll go to her house tomorrow morning."

It was still pouring rain outside, with occasional claps of thunder, and the sound of the air conditioner running could be heard from inside the room.

"Zhouzhou, are you having trouble sleeping too?"

"You're making demands even when I buy it for you!"
Shen Yizhou chuckled, "Can't I make a single request?"

He Tiantian propped her head up and looked at Shen Yizhou. She had a strange feeling for him now. Before, it was just a friend's dependence, but now it was more of an inexplicable emotion.

He picked it up and glanced at it; it was a friend request.
The friend request message stated that the other person was a resident of room 403.
Shen Yizhou thought for a while and clicked "agree." He Tiantian leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder to read the message.
[Zhang Yunmei: Hello! Mr. Shen, I am a resident of apartment 403. I apologize for bothering you so late.]
[Zhou: Hello, Ms. Zhang, how can I help you?]
[Zhang Yunmei: It's like this, I'd like to invite you to dinner alone to thank you for your help this afternoon.]
He Tiantian's face instantly darkened. Inviting Shen Yizhou to dinner alone? And thanking him for his help that afternoon? So, she, He Tiantian, was invisible?
[Zhou: My wife went out to help first, so you should treat her to a meal.]
He Tiantian nodded involuntarily, indicating that she agreed with Shen Yizhou's statement.

He Tiantian grew angrier the more she thought about it, so Shen Yizhou tried his best to soothe her and patted her head to calm her down.
Zhang Yunmei held her phone. Seeing that there was no reply from the other end, she sent another message.
[Zhang Yunmei: Mr. Shen, are you free tomorrow evening?]
[Zhou: I'm busy. Don't worry about thanking me. If you want to thank someone, thank my wife and landlady. Please stop bothering me.]
Zhang Yunmei stared at the message, her lips almost bleeding from her teeth. She couldn't believe that any man could resist her tone. She wanted to say something more, but then she discovered that the other person had already deleted her.
She angrily threw her phone on the sofa, but quickly regained her composure. It didn't matter; there was plenty of time, and she would get her hands on it eventually.
He Tiantian grew angrier the more she thought about it! How could there be such a person? Wasn't this blatantly trying to steal her boyfriend? They lived right across from each other, wasn't she afraid of feeling embarrassed seeing her like that?
"Holy crap, is Shen Yizhou out of his mind?"
He Tiantian sat up and angrily punched the blanket. After all, she was the one who rushed out first!
"Alright, alright, don't worry about her. The fact that she was brought to our door proves that she's done this kind of thing quite a lot."
Shen Yizhou also sat up and gently patted He Tiantian's back to help her catch her breath.
"I felt sorry for her this afternoon, and I was thinking of helping her more in the future. Now I know that there is always something hateful about a pitiful person."

Just as Shen Yizhou finished speaking, his phone rang again.
He Tiantian glared at him angrily and gestured with her chin for him to turn on his phone!
