Night fell.
He Tiantian, wearing beautiful high boots, went out to eat with them.
When Aqing and Ayu saw the shoes on He Tiantian's feet, they burst out laughing, "Tiantian, did Brother Zhou buy these for you?"
"How did you know?" Shen Yizhou asked, slightly shocked.
"Brother Zhou, only you have such a unique eye." Qing Aqing finished speaking and then burst into laughter.
Lin Bing and Shao Yu also burst out laughing. He Tiantian was so embarrassed that she covered her face with her hands.
"It's because you all have poor taste and don't understand fashion." Shen Yizhou walked ahead arrogantly.
The group arrived at a small restaurant, which was quite crowded.
The waiter quickly brought out the food, and Lin Bing ordered five bottles of beer, which Shen Yizhou was going to pay for anyway.
He Tiantian could only watch them drink.
They were still discussing what to do next. Ah Qing and Ah Yu were really something, running such a long distance.
I carried both suitcases with me the whole time.
Lin Bing: "We need to find a place to stay; we only have 14 days left."
Aqing: "What 14 days? What did you do? Wasn't it supposed to be 30 days??"
Shen Yizhou: "I forgot to tell you who the murderer is, it's the train conductor."
Ayu: "The train conductor is the murderer? How did you know that?"
He had barely finished speaking when he received a system notification, requiring them to survive for 14 days. Only then did the two realize that, like the apartment mission, this was a separate task.
Shao Yu: "This county is risky; zombies will be here soon."
Shen Yizhou: "Yes, there is indeed that risk. Let's rest for a couple of days first."
After dinner, the group returned to the hotel, where He Tiantian lay on the bed contemplating life.
How can she possibly go home? Getting first place is too difficult, and she's too afraid to die.
Shen Yizhou came out after taking a shower and looked at He Tiantian, whose face was full of worry.
"What's wrong with you? Your face looks like a bitter gourd."
"I want to go home! It's so hard to survive here."
Upon hearing this, Shen Yizhou fell silent. Going home meant they would never see each other again.
"Just bear with it a little longer, and once you've accumulated enough points, you can go home."
Don't you want to go home?
"I never thought about it. The word 'home' feels a bit foreign to me."
He Tiantian was a little confused. She didn't quite understand Shen Yizhou's words. Did he not get along with his family?
Shen Yizhou lay down next to her, turned off the light, turned over, and went to sleep. The two of them didn't continue the topic.
late at night.
He Tiantian couldn't sleep. She kept thinking about Shen Yizhou's words. What did he mean?
Does he not have a home? If so, can I take him home?
Bringing him home wouldn't be a bad deal; my salary should be enough to support two people, right?
She sat up as she thought about it and stared blankly at the moon outside the window.
I've gotten used to being around Shen Yizhou. Will I feel uneasy going home without him?
He Tiantian patted her cheeks, thinking to herself, "Am I thinking too far ahead? I'm still a million miles away from going home! How crazy!"
Shen Yizhou watched her back as she walked away; he hadn't actually fallen asleep either.
"He Tiantian, do you really want to go home?"
"Huh? I really wanted to just now, but I'm okay now. Going home isn't that quick."
"Okay, I understand."
He Tiantian rolled over and lay down next to him. "Can you tell me why you don't want to go home?"
"There's no reason why, I just don't feel that way."
He Tiantian nodded as if she understood, but not quite. Everyone has different ideas, and she couldn't force others to be like her.
"Well, if you can go home, will you come to my house with me?"
Shen Yizhou was taken aback. "You want to take me back?"
He Tiantian nodded solemnly; she really wanted to.
“Okay.” Shen Yizhou readily agreed.
He Tiantian didn't expect him to agree. Was it possible that he was just teasing her?
The two stopped talking. He Tiantian was breathing evenly as Shen Yizhou looked at her sleeping face.
He reached out and pulled her into his arms, then buried his face in her hair and fell asleep.
The zombies wandered aimlessly through the grass, following the scents of the surrounding area until they found the wooden house.
A group of people were telling stories in the cabin. They lit a few candles and sat around in the living room on the first floor.
The boy leading the group was telling ghost stories to the girls, who were all hugging each other tightly.
The boy was very satisfied with the effect, and the more he talked about it, the more terrifying it became.
Staff members with a sense of self-awareness dislike this kind of pretentious man the most, and the train conductor is one of them.
He quietly crept to the back door, only to find it locked. He then climbed up the water pipe to the second floor.
He staggered to the back door on the first floor, and surprisingly, no one noticed him.
He unlocked the door and let the zombies outside in.
Ah Yong felt a bloody smell around him, so he held up a candle and looked around. He saw a zombie lying on the ground staring at him.
He yelled, "Run! The zombies are coming in!!"
The girls screamed in fright, but quickly calmed down because they couldn't see and thought Ah Yong was joking.
The man in the lead was a little annoyed. Was Ah Yong trying to steal his thunder?
Seeing that no one was running and the zombies weren't attacking, Ah Yong actually thought he had misread it. "Sorry, just trying to scare you guys, haha."
"Aren't you annoying?" the girl said to her in a coquettish tone.
He awkwardly scratched his head, genuinely feeling a bit embarrassed.
The zombies suddenly attacked, and everyone scattered in terror, some running outside and others going upstairs.
