The zombie lay on the ground, trying to get up defiantly, but Lin Bing stepped on its back with one foot.
Ayu tugged at his sleeve. "Let's go back to the car. Let's not attract any more zombies."
Lin Bing then let go of his foot, and after the two returned to the car, the zombie relentlessly chased after them to the side of the car.
He pounded on the car window with his hand and even licked it with his tongue, which Ayu found hard to bear.
Open the car door and push the zombie down. The zombie struggled on the ground for a moment, then stood up and pounced on the car.
The two exchanged a glance; they'd run into a stubborn one.
He Tiantian was awakened by the sound of zombies banging on the door. She poked her head out and squinted at the window.
Upon seeing the baring zombie, she screamed, waking everyone in the car.
Shao Yu sat up in alarm. "What's wrong? Who's calling? What happened?"
He Tiantian didn't have time to explain. She pressed the start button, stepped on the gas, and drove off.
The car slowly drove up to the vicinity of the cabin, and He Tiantian saw that the zombies behind her had disappeared.
She breathed a sigh of relief, but Shen Yizhou looked at her blankly and asked, "What did you see?"
"There was a disgusting zombie baring its teeth at me!" He Tiantian patted her chest.
Lin Bing opened the car door and got out. He approached the wooden house to take a look.
He rolled over and entered the first-floor living room. Apart from some bloodstains on the floor, he didn't find anything else.
Aqing and Ayu recounted yesterday's events to Shaoyu again.
Shao Yu ran to the lake and began vomiting violently, attracting the attention of the fish in the lake.
The fish were eating what Shao Yu had spat out, and A Qing watched from the side with her face contorted in disgust.
Ayu covered her eyes and patted Shaoyu's back to help him catch his breath.
Lin Bing walked to the door of the wooden house. "Come in, everyone. It's safe inside now."
He Tiantian and Shen Yizhou walked towards the wooden house, and as soon as they entered, they smelled a strong stench of blood.
Aqing and Ayu helped Shaoyu into the room.
After everyone had come in, Lin Bing closed and locked the door.
Everyone sat on the sofa and began to discuss.
He Tiantian: "I feel like we can't get out of these three areas. After leaving the inn, I kept driving in the opposite direction, and ended up back on the train."
Lin Bing: "I've also noticed this problem. There are only 5 days left. Let's all hang in there."
Shao Yu: "I'm really going crazy, let's just end this already."
Shen Yizhou: "I guess we'll have to find another place to stay. The staff member who turned into a zombie first will find us no matter what."
Aqing: "I agree with that."
Lin Bing: "I sent Crow to check around, and the zombies are currently at the inn."
Ayu: "Shall we rest here for a day? Or should we change locations again?"
He Tiantian: "Let's take a day off, my feet are about to break."
Shao Yu: "Then let's rest first. You guys go up first, Lin Bing and I will stay down here and keep watch."
Aqing: "Tiantian, go upstairs to sleep. We've been sleeping for a long time."
He Tiantian didn't refuse. She went up to the second floor where she had slept before and found it covered in bloodstains. She went up to the third floor and found the same thing.
She decisively went downstairs and lay down on Shen Yizhou's lap to sleep.
Lin Bing walked onto the lawn and whistled. A crow flew out of the forest and landed steadily on his shoulder.
He patted the crow's head, and its eyes transformed into mechanical eyes, clearly displaying the location of the zombies. The zombies were still at the inn and would need some time to arrive.
"Brother Bing, your crow is amazing! How many points did it buy?" Aqing leaned closer to look at the crow.
"That's too expensive, points only." Lin Bing was as arrogant as a peacock.
The crow's eyes returned to normal, and it turned and flew back into the forest, still needing to monitor the zombies' movements.
The six of them spent three days safely in the cabin, but Shen Yizhou felt something was amiss, like the calm before a storm.
Lin Bing and Shao Yu returned to the train and found some food; they just needed to get through these two days.
The crow circled once overhead, recording what was happening nearby, before returning to Lin Bing's shoulder.
"Old Shao, go back now, this food should be enough." Lin Bing was holding six bottles of water and two large bags of biscuits.
"Let's go, I still have a few bags of cakes here." Shao Yu said, holding up a few small bags of cakes.
The two will soon return to the cabin. The crow will hop onto the floor on its own and start playing the video as soon as it starts moving.
The personnel on duty, leading a zombie army, are slowly approaching the train.
Ayu: "They're walking so slowly, they probably won't get to the train station until tomorrow."
Lin Bing: "I think we should be able to get through these next two days smoothly."
He Tiantian: "They won't suddenly speed up and rush over, will they?"
Everyone looked at He Tiantian at the same time, telling her not to jinx it like that!
Shen Yizhou: "Their speed cannot be changed."
Shao Yu: "You're right. Don't say that again next time."
Aqing: "I hope the next level won't be like this. I'm really tired."
As soon as the sound faded, there was a soft knock at the door. Lin Bing sent the crow to the window to check.
A crow stood at the window, "It's a person."
Shen Yizhou opened the door a crack and saw that the people outside were Xie Yun and Liu Nian.
"Brother Zhou! Could you please take me and Niannian in?" Xie Yun looked at him with pleading eyes.
Shao Yu stopped Shen Yizhou, saying that protecting oneself was the most important thing at this time, even though the people outside were also players.
He Tiantian peeked through the crack in the door and saw that Liu Nian's face was pale. He tugged at Shen Yizhou's sleeve.
Shen Yizhou did not hesitate for long and opened the door of the wooden house.
