He Tiantian opened her eyes and stared at the ceiling. When did she get into bed? She felt like she couldn't breathe properly.
She sat up again and saw that Shen Yizhou was already awake and was still sitting at his desk studying the clues.
"Zhouzhou, I'm a little thirsty and want some water." He Tiantian thought her voice sounded like she had a cold. Could it be that she caught a chill last night?
Shen Yizhou stood up and poured a glass of water for He Tiantian. "Did you catch a chill? Why does your voice sound so hoarse?" As he spoke, Shen Yizhou touched He Tiantian's forehead. Fortunately, she didn't have a fever.
"I couldn't sleep in the latter half of last night, so I sat by the window and looked at the night view. Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!" He Tiantian sneezed three times in a row, it seems she has caught a cold.
"What are we going to do, Zhouzhou? You've caught a cold at a time like this." He Tiantian's voice was already very hoarse when she said this.
"You can rest in your room today. I'll come back after I finish looking for clues." After saying that, Shen Yizhou went to pour some hot water for He Tiantian.
He Tiantian nodded, sat up, and drank a large bowl of hot water.
"I'll meet up with them first, then I'll go buy some food for you." After saying that, Shen Yizhou put on his shoes and went out.
Before He Tiantian could answer him, this man always walked so fast!
When Shen Yizhou came downstairs, A Qing and A Yu were already in the restaurant.
"Brother Zhou! Over here!" Aqing said, standing up and waving.
Shen Yizhou did not respond, but went to the front desk and bought two gold dumplings and plum blossom cakes before going to them.
"Brother Zhou, why are you alone? Where's Tian Tian?" A Yu asked curiously, looking behind Shen Yizhou.
"She has a bit of a cold and is still sleeping in her room." Shen Yizhou ate the breakfast on the table without any hesitation.
"Huh? How did you catch a cold out of nowhere? Is it serious?" Aqing asked.
"It's not too serious, let her rest for a day." Shen Yizhou put down his chopsticks after taking a few bites.
“We also ordered a serving of xiaolongbao (soup dumplings), you can take it back for Tian Tian to eat,” A Qing said to Shen Yizhou.
Shen Yizhou nodded. He didn't know what to buy for He Tiantian, so he could let her choose from the list.
"I'm going back now. See you on stage this afternoon." Shen Yizhou said, then took the food and left.
Shen Yizhou opened the door; He Tiantian was still sleeping.
"Tian Tian, get up and eat something before you go back to sleep." Shen Yizhou walked to the bedside and gently shook He Tian Tian awake.
"Hmm, why are you back so soon? I feel like I just fell asleep." He Tiantian was a little annoyed, having just fallen asleep and being woken up again!
"Take a look and see what you want to eat, pick one yourself." Shen Yizhou responded to her words, feeling like he was both a father and a mother to her.
He Tiantian picked up a steamed bun and started eating. The taste stimulated her taste buds, and her appetite increased dramatically.
She quickly finished the xiaolongbao, then took out a piece of plum blossom cake and ate it. She was a little tired of the jintuan (glutinous rice balls), so she decided to eat them later, hehe.
After she had arranged everything, she drank a few sips of water and climbed back into bed.
She glanced up at Shen Yizhou, who was still studying the clues. She felt like she was a real hindrance, as it was always Shen Yizhou who was looking for clues and coming up with solutions.
Her guilt towards Shen Yizhou increased by 1.
He Tiantian felt dizzy and fell asleep soon after.
Shen Yizhou stared blankly at the pearl, feeling as if he had seen it somewhere before.
This pearl is not something an ordinary person can afford, unless they are a wealthy woman…
But then he hesitated. If it were a woman, how could she possibly turn such a heavy thing as a headlight?
No, it could also be a woman. It's precisely because they doubted that women could change their minds that they got stuck on the wrong point.
After Shen Yizhou had thought it through, he went to the sofa and lay down.
He had a slight headache, probably from overworking his brain lately, and he also had a child to take care of!
Shen Yizhou fell asleep without realizing it, but woke up not long after. He picked up his coat and went out of the room.
When He Tiantian woke up, Shen Yizhou was already gone; he must have gone to find A Qing and A Yu.
She sat up, feeling that she was almost fully recovered and her mind was clear, but she didn't dare to go out, as Shen Yizhou had instructed her to.
She lay back down, thinking, "If I have nothing else to do, I'll just sleep a little longer."
Shen Yizhou saw Aqing and Ayu on the stage.
"Let's take another look on the stage and see if we can find the little pearl we saw that day." After saying that, Shen Yizhou went up on the stage and began to search.
Aqing and Ayu weren't idle either; they started searching as well. Unfortunately, the six people came knocking on their door again.
This time they brought two more, probably because they've made new allies and are trying to steal their clues again.
Shen Yizhou stood up and looked down at the eight people standing at the door. He suddenly wanted to laugh; there were more and more people trying to steal the clues.
“If you really want to get to the bottom of this, just hand over the clues. It’s not good for us to keep fighting.” The man who had escaped last time walked to a seat and sat down.
"Hahaha, he took the picture faster than a dog last time, and you guys still consider him your big brother?" Aqing said, laughing so hard he could hardly breathe.
The man felt instantly insulted and pulled out a knife, ready to stab Ah Qing.
Upon seeing this, Ayu kicked the man, and the seven people behind him rushed forward.
Shen Yizhou shook his head. It was the same situation again. It was really annoying.
He deftly dodged all the attacks, and with a backhand push and strike, several men fell to the ground.
Soon, a chorus of groans filled the floor. The man and woman standing at the door, the newcomers to their group, remained motionless.
