Lin Sinan escorted Nurse Xiao Li all the way back to the nurses' station. The two chatted and laughed for a while. Nurse Xiao Li also tapped Lin Sinan a few times to express her dissatisfaction with Lin Sinan's intimidation.

"Mom, you already know everything," Lin Sinan said, a bit bewildered. "Yes, I went to your house this afternoon to get your dad's ID card and household registration booklet. Your mother-in-law and father-in-law were both there, and I felt something was amiss. After chatting for a while, your mother-in-law told me everything," Lin Sinan's mother said.
"You said you didn't even tell me about this big surgery," Lin Sinan's mother continued to complain. "Oh, I've already done it. I'm afraid you'll be distracted. You're busy taking care of my dad every day, and I'm too busy to tell you." Lin Sinan's mother was silent for a moment, then sighed. "Oh, okay. When will you be discharged?
