Chapter 43: Talking about Aunt Zhang’s Son in Front of Aunt Zhang
After breakfast, the family of four hurried out of the house. The two children followed their mother. Lin Sinan found a shared bicycle by himself and rode slowly towards the company.
The morning sun shone on his body and the breeze gently brushed his face. He rode his bike while enjoying the scenery along the way.
The trees along the road were lush and green, and birds were singing happily in the branches, as if they were cheering for the new day. Lin Sinan was in a particularly good mood, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the moment.
Arriving downstairs of the company, Lin Sinan parked his car and walked into the building. After entering the building, he went straight to the elevator. Not long after, the elevator arrived. Lin Sinan walked into the elevator and pressed the button for his floor.
The elevator door slowly closed, and the elevator began to rise steadily. Lin Sinan stood in the elevator, took a deep breath, and adjusted his mood and state.
He began to think about some of the things that needed to be done today, how to repair the computers that had been delivered, and what spare parts he needed to order.
As the elevator ascended, Lin Sinan's mood gradually became more focused. When the elevator reached his floor, the door slowly opened, and he stepped out, ready to officially begin a busy and fulfilling day of work.
After opening the door of his company and seeing Aunt Zhang there, Lin Sinan breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that nothing unexpected had happened.
Aunt Zhang was sitting in front of a computer, working hard on the game. She looked so focused, as if she didn't even notice Lin Sinan coming in. Lin Sinan understood Aunt Zhang's current state very well and didn't bother her.
Lin Sinan thought a little luckily that Ke Xin had not arrived yet. Fortunately, he didn’t have to explain to Ke Xin anymore.
At the same time, he couldn't help but secretly groan in his heart. It seemed that if Aunt Zhang stayed here in the future, he would have to arrive earlier every day, otherwise Ke Xin would always have questions when she saw these.
Lin Sinan pondered this in his mind as he quietly walked to his seat and sat down, trying not to make any noise so as not to disturb Aunt Zhang. He watched Aunt Zhang busy herself with the game for a while, then began to organize his thoughts and prepare for a new day of work.
Not long after, Ke Xin arrived with a neat ponytail, carrying a bag of steamed buns. When Ke Xin saw Lin Si Nan, her pretty face flushed slightly, as if she remembered the scene of Lin Si Nan throwing her on the bed yesterday. And what she had said, how embarrassing!
"Brother Sinan, it's time for some buns," Kexin said, blushing and speaking with a hint of shyness, as she placed the bag of buns on the table. Lin Sinan was about to refuse, explaining that he had already had breakfast.
Ke Xin had already opened the bag, stretched out her delicate little hand and took out a bun. She passed it to Lin Si Nan's mouth. Lin Si Nan looked at the little hand as white as mutton fat jade tightly holding a bun, and for some reason he opened his mouth and let Ke Xin stuff the bun into his mouth.
"Brother Sinan, is it delicious?" Ke Xin asked softly, looking at Lin Sinan with her bright eyes full of anticipation.
"Hmm, delicious!" Lin Sinan gazed at Kexin's delicate, blushing face, which looked like a fine porcelain doll. He nodded slowly, the corners of his mouth slightly raised, his eyes filled with deep affection for Kexin.
Aunt Zhang heard the conversation between the two and realized that someone was coming, so she quit the game. When Aunt Zhang slowly floated out the door, she saw Lin Sinan and the little girl being affectionate with each other again, with a look of teasing in his eyes.
When Lin Sinan saw Aunt Zhang coming out, he quickly gestured for her to come in. He was afraid that Ke Xin would notice something unusual or something was wrong. Aunt Zhang glanced at Lin Sinan, then slowly floated back into the house with an ambiguous smile on her face.
Lin Sinan forced himself to eat a few buns, then returned to the maintenance room in the house under Ke Xin's resentful eyes. He saw Aunt Zhang sitting at the laptop that his son had given her that day, and he couldn't help but feel moved.
Lin Sinan stood up and closed the door, then turned and whispered to Aunt Zhang, "Aunt Zhang, do you miss your son?" Lin Sinan asked. Aunt Zhang nodded, then shook her head.
My son and I are no longer the same kind of people. We are now separated by the Yin and Yang realms. It doesn’t matter whether we think about it or not. Aunt Zhang said slowly,
"Is there anything I can help you with?" Lin Sinan asked. He knew that even if Aunt Zhang had her own cultivation and even a system, she couldn't just casually contact mortals, even those in the mortal world. If necessary, she would still go through someone like Lin Sinan.
Aunt Zhang thought for a while and said: I left in a hurry. There are several places where deposit slips are placed at home, and my son may not be able to find them all. Why don’t you remind him?
Lin Sinan shuddered. Why are there deposit slips again? You old people always hide these things. Is that okay? Last time I went to Aunt Tian's house, I was forced to possess my body to find the deposit slips. I hope it won't happen again this time.
Aunt Zhang saw Lin Sinan's concerns, thought for a while and said: Xiaolin, it's okay, my child is very careful, maybe he has found it a long time ago. Besides, even if he can't find it now, he will find it sooner or later, right?
Lin Sinan glanced at Aunt Zhang, who looked somewhat dejected. His eyes fell on the laptop computer under Aunt Zhang. An idea suddenly struck him, and he shouted, "Aunt Zhang, I have an idea!"
"Idea, what idea?" Ke Xin pushed the door open and asked in a daze.
Lin Sinan unconsciously showed a hint of guilt. He touched his head lightly and pointed at the laptop that Fatty Zhang had given him.
He slowly said, "I've figured out how to fix this laptop." Then, he turned his gaze to Ke Xin and said anxiously, "Please notify Fatty Zhang. Oh, no, no, Mr. Zhang. Ask him to come pick up this laptop this afternoon."
Although Ke Xin was full of doubts, she nodded obediently, then walked out with a head full of question marks and slightly hesitant steps.
Lin Sinan still seemed a little uneasy, and hurriedly shouted from behind, "Kexin, remember, when you call, it's Mr. Zhang, not Fatty Zhang."
At this time, Aunt Zhang sat in the back and looked at Lin Sinan quietly.
Her face was filled with helplessness, and a faint frown seemed to appear on her forehead. She couldn't help but mutter in her heart, "Xiao Linzi, is it really okay for you to say this about my son in front of me?"
