A while later, before noon, Nurse Xiao Zhao came in. It seemed that Lin Sinan's charge nurses were Nurse Xiao Li and Nurse Xiao Zhao, who took turns. "Time for the injection," Nurse Xiao Zhao said as she hung the medicine bag on the stand. Lin Sinan saw Nurse Xiao Zhao and thought of the day he gave the guy next door an injection and caused him to bleed. Lin Sinan shuddered, wanting to refuse but afraid. He gritted his teeth and reached out, applying the tourniquet. Luckily, it stayed put. It went on safely.
You had surgery yesterday. You'll need to take anti-inflammatory medicine today to see how it goes. If there's no inflammation, you won't need to take it tomorrow. If there is inflammation, you'll need to continue taking it tomorrow. Nurse Xiao Zhao gave some instructions and left. At the door, she said, "Ring the bell when you're almost done." Okay, Lin Sinan agreed.
Lin Sinan's father-in-law was not in the ward, but strolling back and forth in the corridor. After a while, he came in to take a look. Lin Sinan said, "Dad, you should go back. We don't need you here. Just go home and rest. I'll call you if there's anything." Lin Sinan's father-in-law hesitated and said, "Wait a minute. Let's talk after you finish the injection and lunch."

They were still twenty-one at the old price. Before the lunch truck came to call for food, Lin Sinan's injection was finished. Lin Sinan's father-in-law went to call for a nurse. A nurse with a round face came, but she was not Nurse Xiao Zhao. No one knew where Nurse Xiao Zhao had gone.
Not long after the needle was removed, someone shouted in the corridor, "Food is here, food is here." Lin Sinan's father-in-law went out to queue up and got all the food back from the dining cart.
Although Lin Sinan was hungry, the food in this hospital was truly unpalatable. It was far inferior to the bowl of noodles that Nurse Xiao Li had cooked yesterday. Lin Sinan's father-in-law ate it with gusto. He finished the entire box of rice, so Lin Sinan added some of the meat and vegetables from his own lunch box to his father-in-law's. They finished their meal quickly, and at Lin Sinan's strong request, his father-in-law went home.
After having a terrible dinner in the evening, Lin Sinan was not planning to go out. He prepared a few ghost stories in his mind and wanted to tell them to Nurse Xiao Li when she came tomorrow as a reward to her.
After a day like this, Lin Sinan's eyelids had swollen up as the doctor said, and looked like two big frog eyes.
Lin Sinan's father-in-law brought him breakfast in the morning. He and Lin Sinan had lunch together at noon, and nothing much changed. After lunch, Lin Sinan let his father-in-law go home. Today, Nurse Xiao Li came to give him an injection. She looked into Lin Sinan's eyes. He burst out laughing. Lin Sinan looked at her seriously and said, "Be serious, be serious. This is an injection. Don't run away." Nurse Xiao Li glanced at him and said nothing. With nimble hands and feet, she gave Lin Sinan an IV.
At night, Lin Sinan slowly walked out of the ward. Walking with only one eye, you'll always find yourself walking sideways. He had no choice but to hold onto the corridor railing and slowly move toward the nurses' station.
What are you doing here again? Nurse Li said without raising her head, "Hey, how did you know it was me?" Lin Sinan asked in surprise, "Are you surprised now? Who wouldn't sleep at this time of night? Only you, right? You're out strolling around so late at night. Tell me, what are you doing here?" Nurse Li said unhappily, "Hey, nothing else, I'm just hungry and want to eat noodles."
Nurse Li rolled her eyes at Lin Sinan and said, "No." "Don't you have a family?" "You're always eating and drinking with me, so what? It's not free, I pay you," Lin Sinan said. "What's the reward?" Nurse Li asked curiously. "I'll tell you a ghost story." Lin Sinan replied seriously, "Get lost." Nurse Li's clear voice echoed throughout the nurses' station.
