Before he knew it, it was almost 9 o'clock. Lin Sinan still couldn't sleep. He wanted to talk to his wife on the phone, but was afraid of disturbing the children's rest. The patients next door were chatting animatedly about family matters, and Lin Sinan didn't feel like joining in, so he got up and walked out of the ward.
The corridor of the ward was very long, and the nurses' station was in the middle of the corridor. Lin Sinan walked slowly past the nurses' station and glanced inside casually. The young nurse from the morning was gone, and a nurse who looked to be about 40 years old was looking down at her mobile phone.
Lin Sinan didn't say anything and walked slowly in front of the nurses' station. When he came back, the nurse from the daytime had replaced her in the nurses' station. She was holding her cheeks with both hands, daydreaming alone, looking cute and adorable. Lin Sinan thought, since he was free anyway, he might as well tease this little nurse.
Lin Sinan walked over slowly and asked, "Do you want to hear a story?" When he was in college, Lin Sinan was best at telling stories, especially ghost stories. This was related to an experience he had in the past. He had put some effort into researching these ghosts, so he could tell ghost stories in a very clear and logical way, as if they were real stories.
The young nurse glanced up at him. "Go ahead," Lin Sinan cleared his throat. Night had fallen, enveloping our city. The corridors of our hospital seemed unusually quiet. Lin Sinan glanced down at the nurse's ID card. The name column on it read Li Yanting. He mentally changed the protagonist's name. The nurse on duty, Xiao Li, was sitting at the nurse's station, concentrating on filling out a medical record. Suddenly, a cold wind blew, ruffling the curtains on the window. Xiao Li shuddered. She looked out the window. It was pitch black, lit only by a few streetlights.
At this time, a patient's family member came over and asked anxiously, "Nurse, how is my father?" Xiao Li quickly stood up and comforted her, "Don't worry, his condition has stabilized and he is resting now." The family member breathed a sigh of relief and said gratefully, "Thank you, nurse." Xiao Li smiled and nodded, saying, "This is what we should do."
After the family left, Xiao Li returned to the nurse's station. Suddenly, she felt someone breathing behind her. She turned around, only to find no one behind her. She felt a little scared, but she told herself not to be afraid, saying it might just be an illusion.
She continued filling out her medical records, but she felt the chill growing stronger. She turned again and saw a figure in a white robe standing behind her. Their face was obscured by their long hair, making it difficult to see their features. Xiao Li asked in fear, "Who are you?" The figure didn't answer, but slowly walked toward her.
Xiao Li was so frightened that she quickly stood up and tried to run away. But she found that her feet were nailed to the ground, unable to move. The figure was getting closer and closer, and she finally saw its face clearly. It was a distorted face, without eyes, only two black holes. Xiao Li screamed in fear, and the figure suddenly disappeared.
Xiao Li's screams attracted the attention of other nurses and doctors, who rushed over to ask what had happened. Xiao Li pointed tremblingly at the spot where the figure had disappeared and said, "There's a ghost... there's a ghost..." Everyone felt a chill run down their spines at her words. They decided to search for the figure together, but they searched the entire hospital and found no clues.
From then on, Xiao Li could no longer sense the presence of that figure, and her spirits grew worse and worse. She began to fear the night, and being alone in the hospital. She didn't know what to do, and she felt like she was about to collapse...
Lin Sinan stopped. Nurse Li in front of him had her eyes wide open, her lips tightly pursed, and her breathing became rapid. Hearing Lin Sinan stop, she asked, "And then what? Then nothing happened. You can only see him in your dreams. Hate it." Nurse Li reached out and hit Lin Sinan.
Do you want to hear more? Lin Sinan deliberately teased the young nurse. Unexpectedly, the young nurse hesitated for a moment and nodded. Lin Sinan had no choice but to start searching through his memory again.
In an old hospital, there is a special ward. It is said that every full-moon night, faint cries can be heard from that ward.
Once upon a time, a young nurse, on night duty, heard strange noises coming from the end of the corridor. She bravely went to check, only to find that the door of the ward was slightly ajar, and a strange light shone from inside.
As she approached, she felt a chill run down her face. She saw a vague figure sitting quietly on the bed, its eyes seemingly fixed on her. The nurse stepped back in terror, only to find she couldn't move, as if restrained by an invisible force.
Just as she was terrified, the lights suddenly went out, plunging the entire ward into darkness. The crying became even clearer, as if echoing right beside her ears. When the lights came back on, the figure had vanished, leaving only the nurse standing there, trembling. From then on, every night in that ward brought a chill to her heart.
Looking at the young nurse's trembling body, Lin Sinan couldn't help but laugh. It was a pity that he was already taken, married with children. Otherwise, wouldn't this scene be the ultimate dream for any man? As he was thinking about it, he felt something strange. Turning back, looking at the hospital corridor, he suddenly felt as if a figure passed through the red light curtain in his right eye. Lin Sinan subconsciously stepped aside, but then he suddenly remembered that his right eye was already blind. And his left eye couldn't see anything either. The thought made him shudder. Could he have encountered something like that again?
