Chapter 154: Undead Scourge 12 (2/2)

What did they all hear?

Princess Vivian actually wanted to kill the eldest prince? And that necromancer was actually one of Vivian's men! Especially after seeing the city gates that had been breached and the undead army that had already fled far away, almost everyone was certain of this fact.

"It's not like that! I didn't order him to come!" Vivian, standing in the palace, was at a loss at the moment. She was explaining to her eldest brother with a gloomy face. Standing beside her were the senior leaders of the Mage Association and the Church of Light. The two leaders of the Knights Templar were also here.

"Although I really want to believe you, Your Highness, tell me, why did those endless undead that had already broken through the gate suddenly break out?" The leader of the Knights said coldly. He had always held a grudge against Fang Zhiyi because of what happened to his son, and by the way, he also hated this treacherous Prince.

What he said made sense. No one would believe that a necromancer with an army of tens of thousands of undead would come all this way just to frame her, to frame a princess.

"It's not like that! It's really not like that!" Vivian didn't understand how things turned out like this.

"Is that so? That's why you stayed away from me and were so attentive to him." A man came out from behind the pillar. It was Rhine. There was a look of satisfaction on his face.

These words reminded the people in the Magicians Association that Vivian had indeed been trying her best to protect Fang Zhiyi, and she even took a sword for him in order to protect Fang Zhiyi.

At the same time, there are new rumors among the people. Princess Vivian is ostensibly a light mage, but in fact she has already fallen into darkness. She even sacrificed herself to win over the necromancer, with the goal of becoming the queen of the empire.

The people, who were already in fear, became even more angry. Many of them had their friends and family hanged as accomplices of the necromancer. Now they gathered together and surrounded the palace, clamoring for the handover of the prince.

The Knights searched the public room and found the letter hidden in it, as well as the third letter they had just intercepted. The Knight Commander read out the contents in front of everyone.

"Your Highness, I have done what we agreed to do. After I kill your brother, you can become queen, right? However, I do not recommend killing the captain and his useless son now. They are still needed to protect the kingdom."

"Slander!" The leader of the Church of Light spoke for the first time. He couldn't bear to see his beloved disciple fall like this.

The Knight Commander glanced at him and continued, "You secretly told me that the leader of the Church of Light is your teacher. No one else knows about this. I believe that with their help, you can secure that position. As for those selfish guys in the Magicians' Association, leave them to me. As the queen, you must keep your hands clean. I await the time for your next assignment." It was followed by a signature.

The leader of the Church of Light glanced at Vivian in disbelief. He had even told the necromancer about their relationship? Could what he said be true?

Vivian was panicking at this moment. She didn't know how Fang Zhiyi knew all this.

"I didn't!" She just kept repeating like this, her usual gentle and elegant look gone.

Her brother asked sternly, "Do you dare to swear? I swear on your light magic that everything he says is a lie!"

Vivian was stunned. She couldn't utter this oath because even though Fang Zhiyi's words were lies, what she said was what she wanted to do!

Looking at her expression, the eldest prince understood everything and waved his hand helplessly: "Kick her out of the palace. From now on, she is no longer a member of the royal family."

Vivian was driven out of the palace, and later the magician placed her under a ban, forbidding her to use magic. From then on, the light that always accompanied Vivian completely disappeared.

Looking at the angry people in front of her, Vivian felt fear for the first time.

They set her up and set up the stake. When she was sent to the cross, she suddenly understood something. Wasn't it just like Fang Zhiyi at that time? Did he also go back in time through some kind of magic?

This made sense: the rumors in the city, the letters of loyalty, the fake siege. He was just punishing himself! Punishing himself for not saving him!

Just as the fire started, she looked at those angry faces and smiled miserably.

These fools...are truly hateful as weapons.
