Chapter 268 Uncle Master 3 (2/2)

"Where's your senior brother? Ask him to do me a favor." Wang Laosan's tone sounded a little uncomfortable, but the master said that he was just that kind of person and you'll get used to it once you get used to it.

"The eldest senior brother went out with the master." Jiang Muqi answered honestly.

"Going out? That's troublesome." He stared at Jiang Muqi in front of him for a moment, "Can you control evil?"

Jiang Muqi shook his head, and then said, "My second senior brother should know it." His second senior brother started learning earlier than him, so he should know something.

Just as he was about to turn around and call Second Brother, a hand was placed on his shoulder.

"Suppress evil? I can."

Jiang Muqi looked up and saw that it was his uncle.

"I haven't seen you before." Wang Laosan looked at his uncle, and Jiang Muqi quickly introduced him: "This is our uncle."

Wang Laosan nodded: "Okay, okay, come with me." He turned and left.

Jiang Muqi looked up and met his uncle's gaze.

"Does he always talk like that?"

Jiang Muqi nodded: "Master said that Wang Laosan is straightforward, that's just his character."

The uncle smiled and said, "What a coincidence! I specialize in treating people with straightforward tempers. Call your brother and come with me. I will show you my cooking skills."

Jiang Muqi didn't understand what his uncle meant, but he still followed him to the village obediently.

He had been here several times, sometimes to deliver herbs for his senior brother, and sometimes to help others carry firewood.

However, it was the first time he had seen the scene of exorcism of evil spirits. Wang Laosan's family had been waiting at the door early, and they seemed relieved to see them. There was also a pregnant woman among them.

"What's going on?" asked the uncle.

"Hey, forget it. I've always wanted a son, but this woman just can't get pregnant. If she does, it's a money-loser. You know, raising a money-loser is expensive, and they've all been thrown into the pond outside the village. But since a few days ago, this woman has had nightmares every day. She dreams of a few little ghosts haunting her, saying her baby is stillborn." Wang Laosan paused and waved his hand. "I don't believe it, but what if this baby really is a son? That's why I wanted to find you to take a look."

Jiang Mu saw his uncle's expression change, then he smiled and asked, "I can do this, but how much do you want?"

"Money?" Wang Laosan was stunned for a moment, then laughed, "I didn't expect that you, the Yunguanju, would charge money?" He looked at Jiang Mumu while speaking. Jiang Mumu was about to open his mouth, but felt his uncle's hand on his shoulder, so he shut up again.

"Yes, if we don't charge money, we will be left with nothing." The uncle still had a smile on his face.

Wang Laosan laughed twice: "Okay! I'll give you five cents! Ah, hurry up." His tone was full of disdain, even Jiang Muqi could hear it.

"Uncle Master..." The second senior brother seemed to want to say something, but was interrupted by his uncle.

"Today you just watch and see how I compare to your master."

Jiang Mu watched his uncle walk around the room, then he took out a piece of yellow paper and muttered something. After a while, the yellow paper started to burn. Everyone present, including Wang Laosan, was stunned.

"Well, it's not clean. The vengeful spirits you killed are haunting you." The uncle said lightly.

Jiang Muqi also believed it, but the second senior brother muttered quietly: "Uncle Master, isn't this a trick to deceive people?"
