The feeling of harvest made Fang Xiaoyu very happy, but this piece of land was indeed not very big. It would be better if it was as big as the land in her hometown.
Fang Xiaoyu sighed, but quickly adjusted her mindset. After all, she had her own space! This was already prepared.
But she didn't expect that just as she picked the last tomato, the space began to tremble.
This sudden change startled her so much that she sat down on the ground. The shaking came suddenly and ended just as quickly. Then she was surprised to find that the space had actually become larger! The original small piece of land had now expanded four times!
The most crucial thing was that a small house appeared in the corner of the space. Fang Xiaoyu hesitated and walked over. She opened the door and found some farm tools inside, including a sturdy little hoe, a gourd ladle, pruning shears and other tools. What surprised her most was that the small puddle turned into a spring with water constantly gushing out of it.
The next moment, Fang Xiaoyu realized what she needed to do. She picked up a small hoe and dug, only to find that it was much less labor-intensive than the farm tools she had bought. Surprised, she did not stop working and worked for two hours. She dug a crooked irrigation channel along the spring, thus implementing micro-directional irrigation.
Fortunately, I went to my hometown with my dad and found that this is the way they irrigate there. Otherwise, I would be exhausted just watering these fields.
She was busy here, but she didn't expect that something unexpected was happening at home.
Fang Zhiyi decided to sell the house directly, but the condition was that the ownership would be transferred after one month.
Their house is in a good location and is in the school district. Many people came to see the house, and someone immediately decided to buy it and even paid him a deposit.
At the dinner table in the evening, Fang Zhiyi looked at the baskets of vegetables piled at the door without saying a word, while Fang Xiaoyu lowered her head and smiled foolishly.
Both women hid their actions from each other.
However, Fang Zhiyi helped her daughter sell vegetables at the entrance of the community early the next morning.
An old lady tasted a small tomato and showed a look of shock on her face: "This is good! Juicy, sour and sweet! Give me ten pounds!"
Her loud voice attracted more people. Looking at the green vegetables, red tomatoes, and fresh mint leaves, Fang Xiaoyu's prices were also affordable, and they were sold out quickly. Some people even bought some and then returned to buy more, but were told that they were out of stock. Their faces were full of regret.
Fang Xiaoyu was very happy, as if she had found a new direction in her life. That day, she pestered Fang Zhiyi and taught her a lot of things, such as how to turn the soil, what kind of crops needed to be planted in what kind of terrain, and so on.
Fang Zhiyi's patience made Fang Xiaoyu look at her mother with new respect. She didn't expect that her mother not only knew about crops, but also knew a lot about fresh vegetables and fruit trees. She was thinking about when to tell her mother the truth.
The following days were very busy for both of them, setting up their stall and going back to their hometown. The little time they had left was spent on their own affairs. Fang Xiaoyu wanted to till the soil in the space and plant some vegetables and fruit trees. She decided to add some to the existing ones. Fang Zhiyi was busy making money.
The days are busy and fulfilling.
Fang Xiaoyu has made up her mind to persuade her parents to return to their hometown. She will do it as soon as this month's lease ends!
But just as she made up her mind, Fang Zhiyi suddenly said something to her without any context.
"There are some new internet celebrities exploring stores recently, so you should be careful when setting up a stall."
"Um?"
Fang Zhiyi looked at her seriously: "You are capable and willing to endure hardships, but you still have a bad temper. If those internet celebrities come to visit the store, you might offend them."
Fang Xiaoyu was confused by this. She had been concentrating on farming recently. Although she still set up a stall, her mind had long since wandered away and she didn't pay much attention to it at all.
"I'll teach you a passage, and you must memorize it."
