Chapter 754 Foolishness 2 (2/2)

He didn't say anything, as if he had arrived a little late.

Fang Ning was actually quite alright; he didn't silently endure the oppression of those bullies, but the methods he used were rather extreme, which sowed the seeds for future troubles.

Seeing that Fang Zhiyi had no reaction, Liu Mei rolled her eyes dismissively and went back to her room.

Fang Zhiyi then noticed a small figure squatting in the corner, intently playing with a rag doll in his hand, which was quite old.

Fang Ting continued talking to the doll, as if chatting with a friend, when suddenly she noticed Fang Zhiyi's gaze and lowered her head somewhat awkwardly.

My brother once said that Mom and Dad only like the children of relatives, and they don't like her or my brother.

"Oh right, I got you a gift." Xiao Hei's voice suddenly rang out. Fang Zhiyi turned her head, and Xiao Hei opened its mouth exaggeratedly, then stuffed its tentacles into its mouth, making Fang Zhiyi feel a little nauseous.

"Can't you be a little more considerate?"

Xiao Hei spread out his other hand and then quickly pulled a dark, murky thing out of his mouth.

"What is that?" Fang Zhiyi asked with some disgust. Xiao Hei roughly slammed the oval-shaped racket to the ground, then shook it, and a flat "person" appeared.

Fang Zhiyi looked closely and realized that the face looked somewhat familiar.

Upon closer inspection: "Oh ho, the original owner?"

Xiao Hei nodded: "Let him learn from you."

Fang Zhiyi spat and said, "He doesn't deserve it!"

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Before Fang Zhiyi could get up, she saw Fang Ting stand up from the ground and run to open the door.

"Hello, Aunt... Uncle," she called out timidly.

Her aunt, however, did not respond at all, acting as if Fang Ting did not exist. She simply walked in and, upon seeing Fang Zhiyi, immediately put on a fake smile: "Oh, brother, you're home."

Fang Zhiyi nodded: "Mm."

"Hi, I brought my child to play at the nearby amusement park. I thought your house wasn't far, so I came to visit. I hope I'm not bothering you?" Fang Zhiyi looked at the man and little boy behind her but didn't say anything.

Fang Wenxia didn't stand on ceremony and just sat down: "Xiao Jun said he missed his uncle, so he brought him to see you. Xiao Jun, come here and greet everyone."

Li Xiaojun was making faces at Fang Ting, completely ignoring what Fang Wenxia was saying.

Fang Zhiyi stared at him coldly, and the scene was a little awkward. Fang Wenxia was also a little puzzled. Usually when she brought her child to eat, Fang Zhiyi, as the older brother, would always greet her with a smile and be generous to Xiaojun. Why did he seem unhappy today?

Fang Zhiyi said, "It seems that I, as the eldest uncle, don't have much status. The younger generation doesn't like to call me that."

Fang Wenxia rubbed her hands: "Big brother, look what you're saying, Xiaojun! Greet him!" Anyone would feel uncomfortable being told that to their face. Li Xiaojun reluctantly called out "Uncle," but Fang Zhiyi did not respond.

Li Jianguo took out a pack of cigarettes and offered one to Fang Zhiyi, but Fang Zhiyi didn't take it. Li Jianguo lit one himself and said, "Brother, the thing I mentioned last time is about to be done. I'll need your help then."
