Chapter 786 The Mob 7 (1/2)

Zhao Hu still couldn't bring the small refrigerator he had been longing for, because the kayak simply couldn't hold that much stuff. Fang Zhiyi told the four of them to take the things back first, and then make a couple more trips to pick them up.

Watching the kayak disappear into the night, a middle-aged man wondered with some concern, "What if they just left already?"

Seeing Fang Zhiyi looking at him, the middle-aged man chuckled and said, "That's how it is in disaster movies. Once they have supplies, they abandon their companions..."

"You know it's a movie?" Fang Zhiyi shook her head. "Hurry up and move the things you haven't moved yet."

It took four round trips in total. On the last trip, some cardboard boxes were put into plastic bags and tied to the back of the kayak before being towed back.

When Fang Zhiyi and her group arrived, many people were standing at the top of the stairs leading from the eleventh floor to the tenth floor to greet them.

"I never imagined in my life I could paddle this kayak into someone's living room," Zhao Hu chuckled.

They exited from the apartment directly opposite the stairwell on the tenth floor.

People hurriedly passed the supplies around, and then helped those who had gone out up the stairs one by one. The whole building was filled with a festive atmosphere.

Fang Zhiyi stopped doing it herself and handed over the task of distributing the supplies to several other people.

Some of the supplies were kept and some were distributed, so that even families who did not go out could receive some. It was these supplies that completely changed the mood of these people.

The arguments and conflicts in the building dissipated, replaced by a harmonious scene. After eating, some people started playing cards with their neighbors, and several children ran up and down the corridor.

Fang Zhiyi continued studying the map she had drawn, and finally her gaze settled on a small hill outside the city.

At the same time, in another city, Bai Haomin was happily licking his steak from his fork, listening to the noise outside. He grinned from ear to ear: "Now you know to beg me? Too late!"

In his previous life, these people didn't care about him when he was hungry. He even shamelessly asked for food, and they even pushed and shoved him.

"It's not impossible, beautiful lady, would you like some steak?" he asked a haggard-looking long-haired girl through the thick security bars.

The girl nodded repeatedly and said, "I only need a little bread!" They all saw the supplies piled up haphazardly in Bai Haomin's room; he even had a generator!

"I won't give it to you even if you want it! Bah! When I confessed to you before, what did you say about me? A toad trying to eat swan meat? Go cry with your rich second-generation boyfriend!" Bai Haomin laughed loudly.

He felt incredibly happy at that moment.

"Damn it, this little bastard." A burly man slammed against the security bars, but it was no use, as Bai Haomin had already reinforced them.

"Shall we go out and find supplies?" someone suggested.

"You, you'd better never come out here again!" the burly man shouted, pointing at Bai Haomin inside the door.
