"Where are you going? To pick up your cousin."
"The train station isn't this way."
"I know."
"Sir, are you trying to cause trouble again...?"
"You scoundrel! You have no manners!"
"sorry..."
As usual, Zhang Cuilan dragged her suitcase out of the station, but unexpectedly, Fang Zhiyi did not appear. In the past, this cousin would always wait eagerly at the exit and then take her luggage and carry it. Was he late today?
She was getting a little impatient. She couldn't carry her own luggage; it was all for her parents back home. She didn't want to get tired and sweaty and ruin her makeup.
What's wrong with my obedient cousin today?
Just as she was getting impatient, a person holding a sign appeared in front of her.
Looking at the three large characters "Zhang Cuilan" on the sign, Zhang Cuilan felt inexplicably ashamed.
"Are you here to pick me up?" she asked as she stepped forward, gesturing for the man to take down the sign; the name sounded too rustic.
The man was taken aback: "You are Ms. Zhang Cuilan?"
Zhang Cuilan nodded.
"Yes, yes, your family sent me to pick you up." The man reached out and took her luggage. Zhang Cuilan was still a little confused: "Family? Who?"
“Boss Fang,” the man replied briefly.
Zhang Cuilan suddenly realized that her cousin, whom she had looked down upon, had become rich.
Soon she saw a limousine parked at the door. Enjoying the attention of everyone, Zhang Cuilan no longer had any doubts and plopped herself inside.
"Ms. Zhang, please be seated. We're off."
Upon arrival, Zhang Cuilan got off the car amidst the gossip of her neighbors, and the driver solicitously took out her luggage and handed it to her.
"Is that Zhang Cuilan, the daughter of the Zhang family?"
"It seems so."
"You're doing so well out there?"
"She's lucky, she married well."
The whispers made Zhang Cuilan feel incredibly superior, until the driver stopped her when she was about to leave.
"Um, Ms. Zhang, how would you like to settle the payment? By bank transfer or cash?"
"You want money again?" Zhang Cuilan was stunned. "No, my cousin sent you to pick me up. Why do you want money again?"
The man maintained his smile: "We provide pick-up service. As your cousin said, you pay when you arrive at your destination."
Zhang Cuilan wanted to lose her temper, but seeing the looks in the eyes of the people around her, she could only grit her teeth and take out the money.
