Hong Yanwen and Fang Chenghan were both taken aback.
“But this timing is always a bit off,” Fang Zhiyi sighed. “It’s about right.”
Just as he finished speaking, the landline in Hong Yanwen's office rang.
Hong Yanwen answered the phone with a puzzled look. He heard the voice on the other end of the line, which was first respectful, then laughed, and then surprised.
Fang Chenghan saw beads of sweat appear on the forehead of this two-faced, beast-like principal, and finally hung up the phone in a panic.
Fang Zhiyi asked with a smile, "What's wrong?"
Hong Yanwen looked at Fang Zhiyi; he must be an idiot to not even be able to guess this.
"Fang Zhiyi, what did you do???" He was no longer as confident as before, and became extremely agitated.
“I didn’t do anything, I just contacted a few friends… and told them there was a problem with your loan. You know, banks have a risk control department, and in this situation, they have the right to make you pay back the money.” Fang Zhiyi leaned back, looking quite pleased with herself.
"I have no grudge against you, do I? I just want to open a school to save those children who have been abandoned by society and their families! You agree with that! You even said you would invest in me later!" Hong Yanwen was a little confused at this moment.
"Of course, of course, but I've been thinking about it, and these days the risks of investing are huge. If I'm not mistaken, you'll be bankrupt soon, won't you?" Fang Zhiyi said with a smile.
"It's just some loans, what do you think you're doing..."
Fang Zhiyi suddenly clapped his hands and laughed, "And another thing, I bought the land you used to build the school. Of course, the person didn't want to sell, but I offered a price he couldn't refuse, you know what I mean." He said slowly, "If I were to use this land for something else, wouldn't your school be unable to operate? Wouldn't that be a big risk?"
Hong Yanwen trembled all over: "This is a breach of contract! Even if you bought the land, my lease is for a full twenty years! Even if you bought the land, you still have to rent it to me!"
Fang Zhiyi shrugged: "Yeah, I breached the contract, so I'll just pay the compensation. Of course, you have to file a lawsuit first." He winked at Hong Yanwen, "But I sometimes like to procrastinate, I don't know if you can hold out until I have to pay compensation."
He smiled slyly and said, "I've investigated you. All your certificates and degrees were bought. Even this school was set up with a loan. I don't think you can beat me."
"You!" Hong Yanwen stopped thinking about why Fang Zhiyi was suddenly targeting him. The thought of his hard-earned life collapsing made him neurotic. "You think you can get away with this by playing some tricks? Do you know how many people rely on this school for their livelihood? Do you think you can leave?"
Fang Chenghan's mind was constantly overloaded, just when he felt he was about to sort things out.
Fang Zhiyi took out her phone, dialed a number, and handed it to Hong Yanwen, who took the phone with a puzzled look.
A little boy's voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Dad, the amusement park is so much fun! Your friend brought me here. Can you take me next time?"
Hong Yanwen was completely stunned. After a moment, he stared at Fang Zhiyi, his eyes blazing with fury: "You actually kidnapped my son!!"
Fang Zhiyi quickly waved her hand: "Don't talk nonsense. I just saw that you were too busy, so I specially arranged for someone to take him to the amusement park. How could it be considered kidnapping?"
“You…” Hong Yanwen’s phone suddenly rang. He looked down and saw a message. There was no text in it, but a photo of his parents in his hometown. The two elderly people were sitting on the sofa, smiling happily.
