The bored young people, who were drinking, doing psychedelic drugs, quickly decided to go check it out. York hesitated for a moment, but faced with his girlfriend Lucia's expectant eyes, he gritted his teeth and said, "Let's go!"
The group got into their car and headed towards the laboratory located on the outskirts of the city.
They cheered all the way, even frightening some late-returning pedestrians into hasty retreat, which the group found amusing.
Upon arriving at the location, they encountered a problem. There were guards, and getting in wouldn't be easy. Just as York said he knew a hidden passage, the short-haired boy from before was pleasantly surprised to find that the guards weren't at the entrance.
York was somewhat bewildered; the guards here should be on duty 24 hours a day.
But the friends, already high on their spirits, didn't care about any of that and walked straight in through the main gate. York tried to dissuade them, but his companion's comment that he was a coward provoked him, and he immediately went to the front.
At worst, I'll just get a scolding from my dad.
But the further they went in, the more something seemed wrong; the guards at each door had disappeared.
The eerie atmosphere made York wary.
The laboratory's exterior is the original building, but once inside, you discover that they've dug a huge underground tunnel. Following the tunnel, the novel environment excites the young people.
"Should we go back?" someone suggested, sounding worried. But York retorted, "Anyone who leaves is a coward!"
Lucia took his hand, which undoubtedly gave him tremendous courage.
All the way to the end, the door was ajar, and you didn't even need an access card.
Lucia pushed open the door and was somewhat shocked to see the complex equipment inside. Every young person who followed her in looked on with curiosity.
At this moment, a row of iron cages leaning against the wall caught Lucia's attention.
"My God, they're actually using small animals for experiments!" Her compassion overflowed, and she didn't notice the abnormality of the animals in the cages. York had been by her side the whole time; it was also his first time entering a laboratory.
The short-haired boy saw a sealed reagent tube. The liquid inside was strange, floating up and down as if it were alive. He reached out to take it.
A voice stopped them in their tracks.
"We've been waiting all night, and you've finally arrived."
It was a young man with an Asian face who sat in the corner, watching them.
"Who are you?"

The reagent the short-haired boy reached for suddenly fell over on its own. Fang Zhiyi acted swiftly, rushing to the door and locking it the moment the reagent broke.
His actions frightened the young men, who rushed to the door and banged on it while swearing.
"I'm sorry, it seems your gods aren't protecting you..." Fang Zhiyi slowly backed away, raised a button in his hand, and then pressed it without hesitation.
The massive explosion engulfed the laboratory, and even the apocalyptic virus could not survive the intense heat.
Fang Zhiyi, covered in dust and grime, climbed the stairs: "They didn't say it was this powerful..."
"Praise me quickly!" Little Black said, puffing out his chest. "If it weren't for me, would you have been able to come up with a way to directly stop the apocalypse?"
"I'm praising you... Do you know how much effort it took to get here?" Fang Zhiyi wiped her face haphazardly. "Of course, we should resolve the apocalypse caused by such idiots if possible, otherwise how many people would die? Although I'm not a good person, but... um?"
