After leaving "Cangshan Villa", I returned alone to the old courtyard I shared with Nicole. Nicole was busy at the bar, and I was alone and had some peace and quiet. I just lay half-reclined on the chair, smoking and thinking about my thoughts.
After thinking about it for a while, I called Chen Jin and asked him to come over and talk to me. I needed to figure out first whether there was any room for negotiation on the two quotes he gave me yesterday, and then determine exactly how much money I needed to invest in this bar.
