Chi Yu did not feel happy when she saw He Jingchuan looking for her anxiously.
Instead, waves of sadness came over me.
She forgot how many times she had stood there foolishly, waiting for He Jingchuan to arrive.
Even though she called He Jingchuan again and again, the response she got was always that he was busy with work and always asked her to wait a moment.
He Jingchuan would never know how much hope his light-hearted words "wait a moment" gave to Chi Yu.
Countless times, Chi Yu waited in a daze until dark.
She called He Jingchuan, and He Jingchuan suddenly remembered that she was still waiting for him. He then just apologized lightly, saying that he had forgotten and would do it next time!
When He Jingchuan said next time, Chi Yu would really look forward to the next time.
For three years, Chi Yu spent her time in countless longings and waiting.
She held her burning heart in front of He Jingchuan, but He Jingchuan not only turned a blind eye to it, but also cut it into thousands of pieces and trampled on it.
Now Chi Yu wants to take back all the suffering she has endured from He Jingchuan, bit by bit.
She wanted He Jingchuan to pay her back tenfold for everything he had done to her.
"Xiaoyu, he's anxious."
Pei Guyuan looked at the tree-lined path on the shore from afar, his voice low and gentle.
A thin layer of mist had risen on the surface of the lake after the rain, blurring the reflections and the eyes.
He Jingchuan, dressed in a suit and tie, was jumping around looking for Chi Yu.
He looked so anxious that it seemed as if he was sure that Chi Yu had already jumped into the lake.
Chi Yu sighed while holding the telescope: "Yes! It turns out that the way he worried about me was so funny. It's a pity that it's too late! Belated affection is cheaper than grass."
There was a glimmer in Pei Guyuan's eyes.
He noticed Chi Yu's depressed mood.
It would be more accurate to say that Chi Yu was looking at her former self rather than He Jingchuan.
She was naturally sad.
She used to be so humble that it was unbearable.
"Xiaoyu, there's wind on the lake."
Pei Guyuan placed his broad palm gently on Chi Yu's waist and held him in his seat. "Don't catch a cold. Drink some milk tea to warm yourself up."
"good."
Chi Yu picked up the milk tea and took a sip, slightly amazed, "I can't believe a tea restaurant in the middle of a lake has such craftsmanship."
"The tea here is good, the milk is good, so naturally the milk tea won't be bad either."
Pei Guyuan stared at Chi Yu's astonished face and changed the subject naturally, "If you like, I will bring you here often in the future."
"……good."
Desserts can really make people feel better.
Chi Yuqing raised her eyebrows and said, "Actually, I really hate this place because this park holds many embarrassing memories for me."
"Oh? Now?"
"I'm a little bit missing the milk tea here. After all, in the whole city of Gusu, this is the first tea restaurant I've come across that makes such exquisite milk tea."
Pei Guyuan smiled.
He paid attention to the girl's pink little mouth.
Whether she is smiling or silent, she is very attractive.
A little bit, I want to kiss you.
But if Chi Yu knew that he had such thoughts, she would be scared, right?
The two stayed in the center of the lake until dark.
Until all the neon lights on the shore lit up and the night woke up in silence, He Jingchuan finally arrived at the small island in the center of the lake on a covered boat.
The night was a little cold. Chi Yu wrapped herself in a beige blanket and sat on a chair outside the tea restaurant.
There was a street lamp next to her, and the dim light enveloped her head, making the woman's profile as white as snow.
Chi Yu calculated exactly which road He Jingchuan would come from.
She knows that from any angle, her profile is eye-catching and charming.
On the quiet gravel road, He Jingchuan suddenly stopped and called out softly, "Xiaoyu?"
He stared dejectedly at the woman with dull eyes and pale face under the light, and breathed a sigh of relief.
He Jingchuan rushed over in delight, his legs limp as he hugged Chi Yu's arms, tears streaming down his face.
"You stinky girl, you're going to scare me to death."
Chi Yu slowly turned her head and looked at He Jingchuan, whose suit and shirt were wrinkled. She spoke in a tone of despair:
"He Jingchuan, the lake water is too cold. The people who drowned there must be very ugly, right? You don't like me in the first place. What if I become even uglier? I'm so hesitant. I haven't thought it through yet..."
"Don't talk nonsense, Xiaoyu."
"It's all my fault. If you really die, I won't have peace in my next life."
Under the dim street lights, He Jingchuan knelt on one knee and hugged the girl tightly.
Tears are worthless.
Chi Yu also cried.
She wasn't moved to tears.
In her past and present life, she finally made He Jingchuan cry for her.
"Xiaoyu, go home."
Pei Guyuan appeared behind He Jingchuan.
He grabbed He Jingchuan by the back of the collar, lifted him up, and took a step away. "Mr. He, please don't hurt her again."
Pei Guyuan reached out and pulled Chi Yu up from the chair, holding her in his arms with one hand, "Come on, I'll take you home."
"Fourth brother, I haven't thought about it yet."
Pei Guyuan was puzzled: "Huh? What are you thinking about?"
"Boss Pei." He Jingchuan spoke. He knew what Chi Yu was thinking. He was anxious and looked at Pei Guyuan pleadingly and said, "Take good care of Xiaoyu. Don't let her get upset. You have this responsibility."
"It's not your turn to explain."
After saying this, Pei Guyuan simply picked up Chi Yu and carried her sideways.
