Richard frowned and turned back: "What's going on?"
“Jenny!” Lu Qianning was very dissatisfied: “If you two hadn’t wanted to kill Zheng Yang, would he have done it?”
I'm telling you, you deserve to die at Zheng Yang's hands!
“Me!” Jenny actually sounded aggrieved.
I don't quite understand these people. How can they be both scholars and assassins?
Where do they live?
Richard: "Qianning! You shouldn't blame them. It's already a great achievement that they've grown up."
Lu Qianning looked guilty: "Once Jerry recovers, you will all come with me and you are not allowed to be assassins anymore."
Jenny: "But our company won't agree. We're their top assassins, they won't let us go."
"You call yourselves top-tier assassins?"
"We failed with him; we had never failed before."
Jenny looked at me with that resentful gaze again: "He knows magic."
Richard: "Sorcery?"
"Enough!" Lu Qianning shouted, "Jenny! Tell me your company's name, and I'll help you leave."
"Well... our company is called Wolf! We only know about middlemen, and they're not here."
"Then tell me who the middleman is."
Lu Qianning's decision to deal with an assassin company worries me.
“Qian Ning! I have a lot of influence internationally, I can have someone check it out.”
Richard took out his phone, seemingly calling someone.
"Help me find out about that assassin company called Wolf... Yes... You know them? Can you find their company address?... Okay!"
Richard hung up the phone after speaking: "Qianning! I can find their company, but I don't know who the person in charge is."
Upon hearing this, Jenny immediately said, "Brother Richard is so capable, unlike some people who can't help at all."
wipe?
"You seem to have forgotten whose business this is!"
“What’s wrong with me? Richard is quite capable, unlike you, who can only stand around doing nothing.”
"Jenny!" Lu Qianning shouted again, "Zheng Yang is a hacker, how can he be related to an assassin?"
Lu Qianning gave me an apologetic look.
It seems like it's only natural that I can't help.
Richard's gaze at me was unsettling.
It gives off a feeling of showing off.
"That's true! After all, they are technical talents in a single field, so their influence is not that great, and they can't get involved in other fields."
Damn it! You haven't even accomplished anything and you're already showing off?
I said to Jenny, "Give me your middleman's phone number."
"what?"
Lu Qianning: "Just give it to me."
Jenny gave me a phone call.
I took out my computer and did a few things: "This person is currently in France. His computer's IP address... OK!"
I showed them my computer; it showed them the orders, accounts, transfers to Wolf Company, Wolf Company's fax number, Wolf Company's IP address, and the IP addresses of several of Wolf Company's departments.
I also found a man named Bachmann, whose signature was on all the annual reports.
The group stared wide-eyed.
Jenny's mouth dropped open in astonishment: "Just... just a phone number can reveal so much information?"
"I don't know who this Bachman is, but someone who can sign the report must be a high-ranking executive of the assassin company."
“Yes!” Lu Qianning gave me an approving look:
"Zheng Yang! You're amazing!"
Richard, feeling somewhat defeated, said sourly:
"Even if we find this person, we can't get him to release the person, can we?"
"So you have a way?" Damn it! You can't even find the person.
“I can use my international influence to force him to release them. Among my students are leaders of Interpol.”
He happens to be here; he's here to attend my academic seminar tomorrow.
Are the leaders of Interpol really that useful? If they were that useful, why would they even bother running a hitman company?
Luckily, I had Bachmann's phone number in my files, so he wrote it down and then called him.
This time, however, he didn't do it in front of us; instead, he went into the corridor.
A short while later, he returned and said, "Alright! Interpol will put pressure on them. Releasing two assassins won't be a problem."
"Wow! Richard is really capable."
Jenny looked like a little fangirl, and she had forgotten who had found the information.
Lu Qianning had no choice but to thank him.
At this moment, Jerry was brought back, and Lu Qianning and the others went to see him. The doctor said to Lu Qianning:
"Thanks to the timely delivery and the fact that he had already taken medication to counteract the poison, he will be fine, but he will need to rest for a while."
Lu Qianning breathed a sigh of relief.
Jerry opened his eyes: "Brother Richard! You're here too."
"Okay! Get some rest."
Jerry's gaze swept over me again, and immediately sharpened: "Why is he still here?"
Lu Qianning: "What kind of attitude is this? Zheng Yang even investigated your assassin company because of you."
Jenny: "It's just not very useful."
“Jenny!”
"Never mind!" I didn't want to put Lu Qianning in a difficult position. "I'll wait for you in the corridor."
I left the ward after I finished speaking.
I was still worried that Interpol wouldn't be able to handle the assassin company, so I took out my phone and called Peng Jun.
"Master! Do you know a killer company called Wolf?"
"Oh? That bastard Bachmann offended you?"
Holy crap! He knew the boss's name right away. My mentor is amazing.
“Yes! They sent two assassins to kill me. But those two assassins are the younger brother and sister of a friend of mine, and I want Bachman to release them.”
