I didn't even notice, and I was still talking to Lu Qianning!
However, everyone around me was staring at me, which made Lu Qianning realize something was wrong.
"They all seem to be looking at you!"
"ah?"
I only looked up after Lu Qianning reminded me.
"It really is Vice President Zheng!" The person who recognized me was a group leader from the International Climate Research Association, but the key point is that I didn't know him.
"You know me?"
“I know him very well! At the last International Cybersecurity Conference, Vice President Zheng was a very prominent figure. Even those of us from obscure departments weren’t qualified to attend. I still managed to see him through the door.”
The others were somewhat bewildered, as they were not qualified to attend such a high-level meeting.
"Who exactly is this?"
The person asking the questions was the president of the Human Rights Guild, Richard's direct superior.
"Zheng Yang, Vice President of the International Federation of Programming Engineers, Technology Advisor of the Kingdom of Wosha, the youngest honorary elder of Gaim Island, and the world's number one hacker!"
"Hiss..." Those so-called big shots all gasped in shock:
"These are all titles that come with real power!"
"Any one of them is better than us."
"My goodness! Don't compare him to us. Even if our president came, we would still have to be polite to him."
"Our president is here. You have to make an appointment in advance to see him, and there's no guarantee you'll get to see him."
These people knew that their organizations were not respectable, and they all wanted to squeeze in front of me.
“Vice President Zheng! We have failed to provide adequate hospitality. How could we allow such an important person as you to stand here?”

The head of the People's Bank of China, slightly bowing, gestured for me to proceed.
"Vice President Zheng, please come in!"
Richard was stunned and stood there, unsure of what to do. The bank president shoved him aside and gestured for him to move aside.
"Isn't that necessary? I'm just with my girlfriend..."
Before the word "friends" could even be uttered, Lu Qianning interrupted:
“Female customer! I am his customer and also his friend. Zheng Yang came with me.”
I immediately understood that Lu Qianning was thinking of me and didn't want her identity to affect me.
"Regardless of who you come with, you are all honored guests of this conference. Please!"
And so, Lu Qianning and I were invited in by a large group of "big shots," and we were still seated at the head of the group.
Once inside, they reserved the center position for us, while everyone else had to sit on either side of us.
The president of the People's Bank of China walked confidently onto the stage, took a deep breath to compose himself, and then began to speak:
"For this seminar, we are honored to have Mr. Zheng Yang, Vice President of the International Federation of Programming Engineers, Technology Advisor of the Kingdom of Wosha, the youngest honorary elder of Gaim Island, and the world's number one hacker, as our guest."
Please welcome Mr. Zheng to the stage with a warm round of applause.
