Chapter 824 is not up to standard

Tian Jianye shoved the scabbard back into its sheath with a "snap": "No one in the world, except my master, can do this skill."

This requires not only speed but also force.

I went over and looked at the steamer basket of rolls: "I think a good knife and the right angle are all you need."

Tianjianye: "What did you say? Humph! You're obviously an amateur. Do you think that steamed bun will just sit there waiting for you to chop it up? Why don't you give it a try?"

Duanmu Xiuchun walked to the weapon rack and picked up a pure white Japanese sword:

"Mr. Zheng can use my knife."

"Thank you, Miss Duanmu!" I took the knife and pulled it out to examine it.

Hmm! The materials used in this knife are quite good, better than those used in Tianjianye.

I used Duanmu Xiuchun's knife, and Tianjianye's face turned black again.

I approached a steamed bun, and Tanaka snorted, "I'd like to see if your sword is as sharp as your mouth."

I smiled, drew my sword, and slashed.

Just a second before the sword was about to leave the cage, it was suddenly lifted with additional force.

As the cage rose into the air, it began to spin.

Then I used my knife to make circles and shave the top, but I didn't just shave once and that was it. Just as the roll was about to go down, I drew a semicircle and shaved it again.

The same force was used as before, but with an added lifting force.

Use the knife to cut the top again.

And so, the steamed bun never fell down; it just spun in mid-air, and I continued to shave with my knife.

He went up and down repeatedly, leaving everyone else staring in disbelief.

He was so tired of looking at the fields and the wild plants that the flesh on his face twitched.

He only made four cuts just now, and me? In a short while, I've already made more than a dozen cuts.

The fragments on the ground were all about half the size of a fist.

With the last stroke, I cut from top to bottom, slicing the last small piece of steamed bun in half.

Everyone was stunned until I shoved the knife back in with a "snap".

"You...you!" Tian Jianye didn't know what to say.

"Clap clap..." Applause rang out from behind me. I turned around and saw a middle-aged man dressed in samurai attire approaching.

Everyone else nodded and shouted, "Lord Liu!"

"Mr. Zheng, your swordsmanship is superb! I, Duanmu Yifu, am truly impressed!"

Tianjianye: "Master! He's obviously taking a shortcut."

"Shut up! Do you only see how easy he is? I'm asking you, if I asked you to do that, could you do it?"

"Me!" Tian Jianye was speechless.

Duanmu Yifu said to Duanmu Xiuchun, "Xiuchun! What do you think of Mr. Zheng's swordsmanship?"

"I feel that Mr. Zheng's eyesight, wrist strength, and control over the knife are all better than mine."

Duanmu Yifu nodded: "That's right! Mr. Zheng may seem to be taking shortcuts, but every cut has a purpose."

Moreover, his control over the knife has reached a terrifying level.

His wrist strength was immense, and his reflexes were lightning fast. With just those few strikes, he could easily sweep through our entire martial arts school.

Holy crap! Duanmu Yifu has a sharp eye!

There is no first place in literature, but there is a second place in martial arts! Just this magnanimity in admitting that he is not as good as others makes him a force to be reckoned with.

"Master Duanmu, you flatter me. It's really nothing."

"Mr. Zheng, would you do me the honor of having a cup of tea?"

Duanmu made a "please" gesture.
