Even Peng Jun noticed something was wrong: "Haley! If that 'immortality flower' thing is real, how could he have died?"
If it were me, even if I had to eat coarse food and wild vegetables here, I would still want a bite of the immortal flower.
Hailey finally understands what I meant by asking that question:
"That's true! How come I didn't think of that?"
Peng Jun: "Zheng Yang! What do you think?"
"I think the so-called immortal flower is a complete fabrication. Someone is just trying to lure them here."
Then Peng Jun and I looked at the stone gate behind us.
We all considered the possibility that they might want us to discover the stone door so that we could open it.
But what's the point of opening it if it says "graveyard" on it?
"Zheng Yang! Let's try to open the door."
"Master! I'm afraid this is what someone wants us to do."
I've already scanned it; I can't see anything behind the door.
"We can't just cry all the time and not even know who died, can we?"
Okay! Actually, I'm not resigned to this either. The castle's memories only mention treasures.
But now that the Everlasting Flower is fake, can we still trust the information he saw?
Peng Jun stood up: "Even if there's a devil behind the door, we'll still fight him."
We arrived at the door together, and Peng Jun nodded to me, meaning I should be careful.
I was on high alert.
Peng Jun raised his palm and slapped it with all his might.
I thought that even if it didn't break, it would at least make a loud noise.
But Peng Jun's palm strike was like hitting a cotton ball, causing no ripples whatsoever.
"Oh ho? This is interesting. I'm not taking this lying down. Kid! Use your hidden weapon."
Peng Jun was referring to the flywheel I created by imitating the gold-infused form of a meteorite, using royal blood.
"good!"
Peng Jun stepped aside, and with a flick of my wrist, a flywheel flew out.
There was no sound at all; they went straight in without even making a splash.
"No! That's it?"
I refuse to believe it, this thing can't be like a black hole.
I grabbed a rock and threw it. The rock didn't go in, but it suddenly stopped when it hit the ground and then fell to the ground.
Peng Jun and I were both a bit dumbfounded. What was this thing? It was too bizarre.
Even a force field shouldn't be completely unresponsive when faced with such immense power, right?
I reached out and touched it; it still felt like stone.
Wait! Resonance!
I released a force field... I gave up. How can it vibrate if there's no vibration at all?
Peng Jun: "It seems we really do have to go back to the seabed to find the key."
I think so too.
Just then, footsteps approached. I turned around and saw that it was Duanmu Xiuchun, who was quite disheveled from the wind, and her clothes were torn.
"Mr. Zheng! Have you seen my dad?"
"No!"
Duanmu Xiuchun squatted down on the ground and asked, "Can you help me look for it?"
Duanmu Xiuchun looked like she was about to cry.
Hailey, being kind, helped her up: "It's so dark, we can't possibly search here. How about this, we'll search again when it's light tomorrow. Come and eat something first."
"But I'm worried about my dad! When the gust of wind hit him just now, I saw a huge rock crash into him."
No wonder I was so worried.
"Your dad is a powerful figure, he should be fine. Come on! Have something to eat first."
After I finished speaking, I pulled her to the fire.
Peng Jun tore off a piece of meat and gave it to Hailey first, then to Duanmu Xiuchun.
"Tomorrow we not only need to find people, but also figure out how to get out."
Since the stone gate can't be opened, there's really no need to stay here.
After Peng Jun finished speaking, Duanmu Xiuchun realized that the archway was broken:
"What happened? How did the door break?"
I won't explain it to her; it's too much trouble.
"The door didn't break, and there's no airflow anymore. By the way! How did you know that device could get here?"
Duanmu Xiuchun looked at Hailey.
Are you afraid of offending people?
"Holy crap! At a time like this, don't try to hide it anymore. You say you're in the Rainforest, but we're not even sure if you really are!"
“Alright! We got the information from the Gary Ryan family.”
Hailey: "Our home?"
"To be precise, it was your people who found us. That person has a very serious blood disease and needs a large sum of money for medical treatment."
I don't know how he knew that the device was in our hands.
Anyway, he found us and told us, for 100,000 Meijin, that the device could transport us to the entrance of a treasure vault.
Another blood disease?
Hailey said the reporter died of a blood disease, but I haven't paid attention to it yet.
Now another blood disease.
Hailey asked, "Does that person have a mole on the corner of their left eye?"
"right!"
Hailey frowned: "He provided us with this information too."
I suddenly thought of the person in the castle's memory, the same person with a mole at the corner of their eye who told the castle that there was a key in the Landis ruins.
It turns out that all three sources were provided with information by the same person.
The reporter and the guy with the mole near his eye are probably humanoids.
Why are you so sure?
They were both in their forties and both had blood diseases.
Another reason is their purpose; they all want someone to open the stone door here.
Therefore, I can boldly speculate that there might be some high technology behind this stone door, since the humanoid mission is to guide us in producing more high-tech weapons.
But this person is really something else. They split into three different sources, and the information they provided was different, but they all pointed to the same place.
Could there be other aliens on Earth besides the Rock People, Puppet People, and Netherworld People?
I asked the auxiliary brains, but unfortunately they were dragged underground by the Stone Rock People too early, so they don't know either.
