"How dare you scold me, little brat?"
"What's wrong with scolding you? If it weren't for you, would Aunt Jun run away from home?"
"You little bastard!" Boss Chu came up and slapped him.
I instinctively tilted my head back, but his hand was caught by Aunt Jun.
"You can hit me, but you can't hit Zheng Yang."
"You're rebelling."
"Pa!" Boss Chu suddenly swung his other hand and slapped Aunt Jun in the face.
"Aunt Jun!" I was furious: "I'm going to fight you."
"Zheng Yang!" Aunt Jun yelled, leaving me frozen in place.
"Dad! This is the thirty-sixth slap. You are my dad, and I can't say anything else if you hit me."
"But don't treat me like a pushover. I came back just to keep grandma company."
"Now that grandma is better, I don't want to have anything to do with you, and I don't need some people to dislike me."
Aunt Jun rolled her eyes at Mr. Bai, then pulled me up and walked away. When we reached the door, Mrs. Chu finally spoke:
"You're going to run away from home again just for a wild boy like this?"
Aunt Jun paused there, but didn't turn around: "He's not a wild boy, she's my family. She cares about me, she won't push me, she's a family that will do anything for me."
I was touched that Aunt Jun was still on my side.
Boss Chu was breathing heavily, and Old Mrs. Chu sighed.
Others frowned.
"I advise you not to get involved with the Bai family, lest you suffer together."
After I said that, I went out with Aunt Jun.
Then I heard Boss Chu yelling inside: "You ungrateful wolves, you are all a bunch of ungrateful wolves."
When I got outside, I remembered where Chu Qing had gone. I rushed in, but she didn't go in.
"What are you looking for?"
I looked around, but I couldn't see Chu Qing.
"I'm looking for Chu Qing."
"You said you were brought here by Chu Qing?"
I think Aunt Jun’s face doesn’t look right.
"What's wrong, Aunt Jun? Is there a problem?"
"My sister! Is she so kind? Maybe she's just lending you to me so I can cause trouble at home. That way, no one will compete with her for the family fortune."
