"What?" The group perked up at the news.
Wardman: "Has the treasure map been found?"
Sevin: "Found it, on a small island south of here."
"Let's go to Yangben first and meet up with the experts who will be arriving tomorrow. Then, we, Yangben, Meiguo, and Hanguo will go together to find the treasure."
Holy crap! If that's the case, I definitely need to go check it out.
A thought struck me, and Wardman's eyes went blank. Then the viper appeared behind him and whispered in his ear.
"Kill everyone!"
Wardman heard me through the viper's little speaker.
Wardman suddenly stood up, drew a pistol from a nearby guard, and fired.
The first one was Higg, a headshot.
Next came the Eight Apostles. They dodged, but were still shot in the shoulder.
Only then did Sevin have time to shout, "Ninth Apostle, are you crazy?"
Wardman ignored him completely and shot the still-stunned Ten Apostles dead.
The Eighth Apostle kicked Wardman, sending him flying. However, Wardman fired a shot in mid-air, killing both the Eighth and Eleventh Apostles.
I hypnotized him so he didn't feel any pain, and when he fell to the ground, I hit Sevin again.
Finally, the Twelve Apostles shot Wardman dead.
After thinking about it, I decided that keeping the twelve apostles alive wouldn't be a bad idea.
At least no one will suspect me.
A thought struck me, and the viper slithered out and returned to my wrist.
