That question is rather suspicious.
"I feel like the leaders were putting on an act for them."
"Haha... You can't hide anything from me. But it's not just acting."

Old Sun came over and personally poured me a cup of tea.
“We all know about what happened on Gam Island. It’s rare to see the military so united.”
Many business leaders want to support you, but our country can't afford to confront the US head-on right now, as that would hinder our plans. However, we can still offer you some support.

What time is it? After I finish cooking the noodles, am I supposed to go to sleep or not?

The next day, before dawn, I was woken up by the crowing of roosters.
This guy, once one rooster crows, all the roosters in the village respond.
Then a man came in and brought water for washing faces.
"Engineer Zheng! I'm your orderly, you can just call me Xiao Song."
