Chapter 948 Even More Curious

After breakfast, I went to the golf course with Cui Huanzhu's father.

I didn't go with him to Park Lee-do. I just need to find an opportunity to go over and hypnotize him a little, and ask him some questions I want to know.

You don't necessarily have to face him.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Choi family also sprang into action, monitoring Park Lee-do's wife, son, daughter-in-law, and daughter for me.

I hid in a corner and hacked Park Lee-do's phone to listen to their conversation.

Park Lee-do was already playing basketball, and when Choi Hwan-joo's father arrived, he didn't stop either.

"President Cui! I heard you recently recruited a formidable general. He even crippled President Li's mad dog. Why don't you bring him over so I can meet him?"

"Bang!" Park Lee-do hit the ball with his club, sending it flying. Soon, another ball rose up from the cradle.

Choi Hwan-joo's father also took out a golf club: "That's the guy my Hwan-joo brought back. He's just a brute. I'm afraid Prosecutor Park will laugh at us."

"Really?" Park Lee-do put down his cue.

"Then I'd like to see him even more. Shanxi was injured last night by a brute who broke three of her ribs with one punch."

Choi Hwan-joo's father was unaware of this matter and was taken aback upon hearing it: "Really? You should have said so earlier! I should have gone to see Young Master Park."

"No need, let me meet your valiant general instead."

There's no reason for him to see me. He doesn't know I came here in disguise.

Does he have some expert who can deal with me right now?

I started checking inside and outside the court, and suddenly, I spotted a sniper in a tree outside the court.

He's pointing a gun at Choi Hwan-joo's father right now.

I pulled my hat down low and walked to the court from the side.

He casually broke off a branch and flicked it away with a "whoosh".

There was a scream of pain over there, followed by a person and a gun falling from the tree. The sniper scope was shattered, and a branch was stuck in the person's eye.

Choi Hwan-joo's father and Park Lee-do both turned in that direction, and the stadium security guards, Park Lee-do, and Choi's family bodyguards all ran over to check.

I took the opportunity to sneak up behind Choi Hwan-joo's father and Park Lee-do, a cigar in my mouth.

"Park Lee-do! Where is Kaman?"

Park Lee-do's eyes were glazed over as he mechanically replied, "I don't know."

have no idea?

Why the hell doesn't he live at the Meijun training base?

Why don't you know?

“He doesn’t live at the Meijun base. He always comes to find me in person. If he doesn’t show up, I don’t know where he is.”

"Where's the phone number?"

"No."

I couldn't help but curse. Did Kaman have to be so cautious?

Damn, if he doesn't show up, where am I supposed to find him?

What is his purpose in coming here?

"Initiate the covert planting plan."

Seeing a bodyguard run back, I couldn't ask for any more details. I dispelled the hypnosis and sat down in the chair behind me.

The bodyguard ran back but didn't report the situation; instead, he looked at me.

Park Lee-do then noticed that there was another person behind them.

Choi Hwan-joo's father chuckled: "Jae-hoon! You didn't even say hello to Chief Prosecutor Park before you came?"

I adjusted my sunglasses, took a sip of my cigar, and said:

"Isn't it because I was afraid of disturbing Chief Prosecutor Park's game?"

Park Lee-do looked at me and then at the tree: "Where did you come from just now?"

Are you going to interrogate me?

Park Lee-do, used to being domineering, frowned and said, "Answer my question."

"Oh! I poked that person over there, and then I flew here."

Park Lee-do paused for a moment. He had been led astray by my words and completely overlooked the fact that I could send the tree branch flying to hurt people.

Even if I thought of it, I doubt he would believe it.

Is it possible for a tree branch to fly over and injure someone from a distance of over 100 meters?

Park Lee-do glared at me before asking his subordinate:

"What's the situation over there?"

"An assassin tried to harm you, but someone intervened and injured him."

I then interjected, "With a leader as high-ranking as the chief prosecutor, how could anyone dare to make a move against you? I think it's more likely that it would be detrimental to my boss, Mr. Cui."

That sniper was clearly one of Park Lee-do's men.

Park Lee-do's face darkened upon hearing this: "Send him to the hospital, and once he's healed, I'll interrogate him thoroughly."

"Yes!" the bodyguard replied and went to make the arrangements.

Park Lee-do put down his golf club and sat down in the chair behind him: "President Choi! Shall we talk about the investment?"

"Chief Prosecutor! I don't need the money right now, so let's forget about the investment."

Cui Huanzhu's father hit the ball out with one shot.

"President Cui! It seems you have a formidable general here; he speaks with such confidence now."

After finishing speaking, Park Lee-do turned to me and asked, "What's your name? What do you do?"

I puffed on my cigar: "Is the chief prosecutor suffering from an occupational hazard?"

"Stop interrupting me! Tell me! Who are you?"

"Chief Prosecutor!" Cui Huanzhu's father quickly stepped in to smooth things over:

"Je-hoon is from the countryside and doesn't know how to be polite. His name is Jung Jae-hoon, and he used to farm in the countryside."

He possessed some brute strength, saved Huanzhu, and was then brought back by her.

This is actually telling Park Lee-do that I was the one who beat his son into the hospital.

However, Park Sun-hee's behavior last night was also disgraceful, and Park Lee-do was furious but could not pursue the matter.

He snorted coldly, got up, and left.

Choi Hwan-joo's father breathed a sigh of relief: "Jae-hoon! Did you take care of that assassin just now?"

"Um!"

I need to give him some confidence. Even though it's such a long distance, it's amazing that a twig can have that kind of effect.

"Jae-hoon! I'm starting to wonder what you used to do."

“I did live in the countryside before, but not to farm; I learned skills.”

Cui Huanzhu's dad gave me a thumbs up: "Come on! Play a couple of rounds!"

I glanced at the furthest point on the field: "No need, I'm afraid I won't be able to retrieve the ball."
