When Luo Yingtao returned to the dormitory, feeling angry and frightened, it was already past midnight and her roommates were all asleep. When she pushed the door open, Liu Hanxiu woke up with a start. She wiped her eyes and asked drowsily, "Yingtao, why are you back so late? Have you forgotten the time because of your love?"
Luo Yingtao was just fuming with rage and had nowhere to vent it, so Liu Hanxiu happened to run into her fireball: "What are you talking about?! We're breaking up, and to hell with it all."
Luo Yingtao's unusual behavior suddenly woke up all the roommates. They all sat up. Wang Mudan asked, "Yingtao, what's wrong?"
"I was robbed!" Luo Yingtao answered weakly, lying heavily on the bed.
"What? Robbery?" This sudden and explosive news instantly drove away everyone's sleepiness. Everyone gathered around and asked, "Where were you robbed? Are you okay? Where's Simingda?"
"He's dead!" Luo Yingtao said bitterly, "Don't mention that man anymore."
Liu Hanxiu suspected that Luo Yingtao might have had some conflict with Si Mingda, so she asked, "Where were you robbed? Did they have any conflict?"
Luo Yingtao's emotions gradually calmed down, and she slowly said, "We were really robbed. All the more than 200 yuan I had on me was stolen."

"On the corner of K Park."

The next morning, when Luo Yingtao arrived at the classroom, her classmates all looked at her strangely, and Si Mingda lowered his head and did not dare to look at her. If he had not insisted on calling the police, this matter would not have been known by the teacher and classmates. She ignored Si Mingda for the whole day. Si Mingda knew that something was wrong. After self-study in the evening, he came to Luo Yingtao's dormitory early to get hot water for her. He carefully observed her expression, fearing that he would make her unhappy. Luo Yingtao had a stern face from beginning to end and did not look at him directly.
After Luo Yingtao finished washing the clothes, she said to Liu Hanxiu, "Hanxiu, I'm going to call my mom."
"Okay, come back early."
Luo Yingtao ignored Si Mingda when she left. Liu Hanxiu quickly winked at him and said, "Hurry up and follow her. Comfort her. She was frightened last night. Only you can comfort her."
Si Mingda understood and followed him out. Luo Yingtao called her mother in the small shop at the school gate and told her about the frightening scene last night.
She was the delicate daughter of the family, so it was understandable that her mother was terrified when she heard the news. She quickly asked, "Are you okay?"
"It's okay, I'm just a little scared."
"I'll visit you at school tomorrow. Don't go out to play at night."
"Okay, what time do you expect to arrive tomorrow?"
"I took the earliest bus and arrived at school around 3 p.m."
"Okay, see you tomorrow."
After hanging up the phone, Luo Yingtao still ignored Si Mingda. She walked straight to the dormitory. Si Mingda followed her silently and came to dormitory 508.
Liu Hanxiu, Wang Mudan and other roommates noticed that their expressions were not right, and they all remained silent at the same time.
Luo Yingtao went back to bed and lay down, and Si Mingda sat silently beside the bed. The atmosphere at the scene suddenly became very depressing.
To ease the awkward situation, Liu Hanxiu softly comforted her, "Cherry, just treat what happened last night as an experience. Don't take it too seriously. As long as everyone is okay, be happy."
Luo Yingtao remained silent and angry. Simingda said disapprovingly, "It's no big deal. Don't take it to heart."
Luo Yingtao was already full of resentment and wanted to vent it, and Simingda's nonchalant attitude further irritated her. She shouted at Simingda, "If you hadn't gone to that damn place, how would we have run into those two robbers? If you hadn't talked nonsense in front of the teacher, this matter wouldn't have spread throughout the school. Don't you think you're proud of it?"
Simingda quickly put on a smile and said, "Hey, how could we have imagined we were being robbed when we went there? I insisted on calling the police because I wanted to get your money back. Besides, isn't calling the police a natural reaction after being robbed?"
"Are you going to get the money back?" Luo Yingtao retorted.
Simingda said hesitantly, "The police have registered it. Maybe they can catch the two robbers in the future."
"Haha, by the time we catch the person, it will be too late." Luo Yingtao said sarcastically.
"It's okay. I'll go to work when I have time and earn some money to pay you back." Si Mingda said flatteringly.
"Do you think everyone cares about the two hundred dollars as much as you do? To tell you the truth, I'm not short of money at all. Just rob it. I don't feel bad at all. I just can't stand your self-righteous character." Luo Yingtao said sarcastically, her eyes full of disdain and contempt for Si Mingda.
